  1. I agree with you, that is what they are supposed to do. I think it just shows that there's no level of cooperation, whereas there might have been some a while back. I think it's retaliatory for us flagging them as potentially hostile and working with the Russian govt. when their software was discovered scraping and copying files from and NSA contractor's laptop. Just another front we're fighting on..
  2. Might be more appropriate for the tech thread, but relevant here. Kaspersky's 'Slingshot' report burned an ISIS-focused intelligence operation
  3. We'll see. I do think some within the company may have been. At the very least, they were negligent, and willing to look the other way in the pursuit of more growth and the almighty dollar. Speaking of dollars
  4. The irony that McCabe was fired by Sessions, citing a "lack of candor" Everything Attorney General Jeff Sessions Has Forgotten Under Oath
  5. So evil. I have a feeling he'll be OK. There's probably plenty of opportunities ahead for him. Anyone who supports that move, I hope you get the equivalent in life. Good look on your book deals and television appearances.
  6. Not on Facebook, but these seems good. Late, but good. https://newsroom.fb.com/news/h/suspending-cambridge-analytica/
  7. Pretty scary. Here's a flashback to a year ago when people were writing a lot of stuff about oligarch's planes and yachts coincidentally showing up around Trump's in the same places, pre-election. I think it was Lousie Mensch that had quite a few twitter threads tracking Rybolovlev (the one who bought Trump's Palm Beach mansion for way over the appraised value) and Michael Cohen's planes that people were freaking out about. I think this article is from after that, but it struck me then that these guys were probably working closely with electric companies in the US. I was skeptical about what kind of industrial controls and technology they could potentially use for dubious purposes. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-world/national/article141308758.html They were producing battery storage grids, to store power from solar and wind farms. They've since declared bankruptcy, but one of those battery grids is up and working in Hagerstown Md. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/article167970747.html
  8. This is supposed to be streaming on their website starting at 9am tomorrow. putincon.com
  9. Chatter/Rumors out there that Trump will fire Sessions, appoint Pruitt as acting AG, and Pruitt will fire Mueller. The McCabe thing may be just be to have a reason to fire Sessions. Something like that.
  10. Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to inbreed.
  11. Disgusting, destructive, nonsensical action after disgusting, destructive, nonsensical action. If there is any justice in this world, there will be hell to pay for this insane **** and his band of sycophants.
  12. Here's the names of the abettors on the HPSCI that the American people were assured would do a fine job of investigating Russian interference, and possible collusion. Instead, they just ran interference and tried to misdirect and muck things up as much as possible. They've completely discredited it's role as a non-partisan oversight committee. Paul Ryan is also completely complicit, and responsible for the dereliction of duty. He did a whole lot to help this along, by doing nothing at all. Devin Nunes, CA, Mike Conaway, TX, Peter King, NY, Frank LoBiondo, NJ, Rick Crawford, AR, Trey Gowdy, SC, Tom Rooney, FL, Will Hurd, TX, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, FL, Mike Turner, OH, Brad Wenstrup, OH, Chris Stewart, UT, Elise Stefanik, NY https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_Permanent_Select_Committee_on_Intelligence
  13. Putin by default. Trump's on his own side, and only his own side. He will deceive, back stab, and defraud anyone in a New York minute if it benefits him. Besides all the other unscrupulous and illegal crap he has gotten away with as a lifestyle, he made the decision long ago to tie himself up in Russian mafia financing, and he has to protect proof of that until his last breath.
  14. I'll be shocked if it isn't something for show, and completely toothless. If it even happens. it'll probably make no sense. A small piece of me hopes they prove me wrong and do do something of significance though.
  15. Schiff and Nunes The Odd Couple ...both of them in another year or so
  16. Incoming! Here's your next trial balloon, asinine, Nunes attempting to muddy the waters "very interesting" observance. Let's try to see if we can discredit the Australian diplomat who helped make our IS aware of claims that the Russians had offered dirt on Hillary via Papadopoulos. He worked on funding and grants with The Clinton Foundation in 2006 to help fight AIDS. "Clinton tentacles". Get out of here with this stupid ****. Wake up to the very serious threats our country is facing today, please.
  17. Starting to think I agree with what I see some people saying. Something seems really off about him (a lawyer ETA:?) getting plastered, defying Mueller, and going on every news show that will have him in one day, so he can ramble like a loon. He might be trying to discredit himself. or He's genuinely flipping out because he's about to give up the goods on people, or already done so, he really doesn't want to, they know, and he wants it to seem like he's not. Yesterday: Today: or, NOTA, and I have no idea what is really going on. Bizarre behavior.
