  1. What the heck happened to Bogs' shot? He's really struggled lately, dating back to the regular season.
  2. Wow what BS Wall gets mugged twice and no call, they get basically no contact and get 2 FTs. BS
  3. Honestly Chicago kinda scares me. I actually think I might prefer facing Boston. Butler, Wade, Lopez, and Rondo are all playoff-seasoned.
  4. I'm probably going to be very embarrassed when this question gets answered but..........who are CJ and DL?
  5. That's the Morris we saw in January. We get that from him on both ends of the floor (and we keep him out of foul trouble) and we got this.
  6. Little late here, but wow, what a finish in LA!! Almost certainly not gonna happen this year, but it'd be nice to see Joe get a ring.
  7. Why are you guys so confident that we handle ATL? They were on the verge of missing the playoffs not long ago, but recently they flipped a switch and have been on a roll lately. With Mahinmi out it'll be harder to contain Howard, especially with Gortat not playing very well lately. Even with Mahinmi our D hasn't been good recently. Granted Mahinmi's absence means more minutes for Morris and Smith, both of whom have been playing well lately, but foul trouble becomes a concern.
  8. Honestly part of me is kinda glad that we didn't get 50 wins. I'm not completely confident that we win in the 1st round, and it'd be hella lame if our first 50+ win season in decades ends with a 1st round exit.
  9. WTF Boston is losing to Milwaukee even with Giannis resting. C'mon Celtics get it together. That, or Toronto better beat Cleveland.
  10. A week ago I would've been thrilled (and surprised) to hear that we'd be facing ATL in the 1st round: it looked like it wasn't even certain that they'd make the playoffs. But not now. All of a sudden they look like the eastern team with the best shot of taking down Cleveland.
  11. Brooklyn. They played and beat Orlando tonight. So who would you rather face in the first round, ATL or MIL? A week ago I would've said MIL, but ATL seems to have regained their form.
  12. I don't think it can go to Brooks at this point. At one point the Wiz were the #2 seed, with a shot at the #1. If we'd sustained that play until now, we'd likely be finishing with the #1 seed now that Cleveland is tanking. But now we're only the #4 in the weaker of the 2 conferences. We could end up finishing with only the 9th best record in the league. Brooks did a good job to get this team to improve from last year. But with our relative funk post-ASB, I don't think he can win. I'm not even confident that we'll make it past the first round.
  13. I think they still have to win. Otherwise, they need Miami to lose. Darn, if Mahinmi has to be out a while, our chances of making a deep run go down significantly.
  14. It's not funny. Not only does it speak negatively about the fact that we're 0-3 against them this year, but we want Cleveland to lose now that we're locked in to the #4 spot. We want Boston to catch Cleveland for the #1.
  15. Well I guess I had it right the first time: Cleveland will indeed mini-tank for the #2.
  16. Boston hasn't been so hot over the past several games, and their remaining opponents are Charlotte, Brooklyn, and Milwaukee. If Brooklyn can pull the upset, we actually still have a shot at the #2 seed.
  17. The Knicks have been playing pretty well over the past several games. This win is somewhat better than advertised. Shouldn't have been as close as it was at the end, but road wins are never gimmes.
  18. Yeah why the heck wasn't Porter in at the end? Better D and rebounding, and Bogs' shot was off tonight.
  19. I thought Cleveland might pull a mini-tank starting a week or so ago, but I was wrong: they're going for the #1 seed. With that in mind, I think it's bad for the Wizards that Toronto won tonight: we need to shoot for the #3 or better.
  20. Season series is currently 2-1 in favor of Cleveland. Assuming Boston wins their division (Toronto being their last remaining competitor), next tiebreak is conference record, which Cleveland currently has the advantage in by a full game. Then it comes down to record vs eastern playoff teams, and I have no idea where they stand regarding that.
