Didn't see the game, but looking at the play-by-play, Beal got lucky that Lowry missed that FT. Regardless, I'll take a win against a good team.
This has been such a confounding season, geez...
Our bench is good now. When Wall comes back we'll be tough to beat. Especially if we can make a move to get an upgrade at C. Unless Brooks decides to do something stupid like not play Sato anymore when Wall returns.
Didn't get to watch the game, and I'm not surprised or disheartened to see that we lost to a respectable team on a night when Wall was out, though I was glad to see that we once again held our opponent to 100 or less.
Good win. Weak opponent, but we did what we were supposed to. Our offense is really something. Now if we could consistently hold our opponents under 100 like we did tonight, we can finally hit 50 wins.
This team is frustrating. Good win and all..........but where the heck was this against the Mavs and against the LAL in the 1st meeting? Very concerned by the C play.
I don't like this system of switching on every screen. I like what Brooks has done in terms of player development, but holy cow, our D sucks now. I realize that Keef is still getting in the flow but I'm thinking the issue on D runs deeper than personnel.
What an embarrassing defensive effort. Late in the regular season last year it looked like Mahinmi was on the verge of getting it together prior to reinjuring himself, but now we're back to not getting much from him. I just hope that Keef and Otto can reenergize us when they return, and that Smith can get more in the flow of things.
