Stevenson is 11 months older than Robinson, has average half a yard more for his career, scored DTs at a much higher rate and catches a lot more passes. I believe in using ages, but hanging everything on an 11 month age gap seems silly, imo. Gibson vs Ekeler at this point I have no idea on. Again, I think it is at least a wash if not a slight edge for them.

There are rumors of Jonathan Kraft wanting to be heavily involved, but not sure how true it is. If it's true, that's a problem. And I'm not sure about the coaching staff. Some good people on it, have to see how it works out. But for the roster, I keep reading people her talk about how they have "noting" and that's pretty laughable. At the moment, their OLine is better than ours (one would assume our draft capital would hep us improve more than they can) Their TE is better Stevenson is at least the equal of Robinson. The only real advantage Washington has is at WR. And while I think NE needs a playmaker there, it's not exactly a disaster. Demario Douglas showed a lot of promise, Bourne is a good player and KJ Osborne could b a sleeper FA signing for them. They still have JuJu for depth too. It's not a spectacular lineup for a rookie to walk into, but neither is ours. And they have Brissett and you;d easily give Maye the time to develop rather than throwing him to the wolves right away.

Running QBs are great for winning games, making the playoffs (if they stay healthy) For winning Super Bowls, they haven't done it yet and it's easy to see why that is. In choosing a QB I almost literally don't care how well they run it. Mobility is great, but the ability to be a big part of the running offense doesn't interest me. If it's a big study guy like Josh Allen, then it's nice to know the have that in their arsenal, but it isn't going to register not he reasons I'd draft a QB.

Very true. These lists of prospects "regardless of position" for some reason never have Safeties, off the ball LBs or Interior OL that high (24 is the highest on this particular list). Why is that? If it's regardless of position shouldn't we see players from all kinds of positions crashing the top of the list? How about a K? The answer, of course, is that they are valuing players based on their positional values, but downgrading QBs to seem basically contrarian.

There was just nothing impressive about Brady coming out. He didn't;t do much to stand out in college, he had no physical traits that merited attention, he had a decent Wonderlic, but not remarkable. The pics of him wit his shirt off looked like a dude you'd see in the locker room of your local gym and you'd say "Oh, first time? Do you need someone to show you how a treadmill works?" What's funny to me is he was going around saying stuff like "If you don't draft me, you'll regret it" and now people make it out like everyone was dumb for not listening. But is that really what we expect GMs to do? Listen to every prospect who just says he's going to be great? I mean, I'm sure plenty of Shaun Dion Hamilton types said the same thing.

Of course. I was trying to make that point, perhaps unsuccessfully, that the only way you move down for Penix is if you have him rated on par with the others. Still, I don't see how you move down to 11 or 13. If you think Penix is that good, you have to assume others do as well. Say you get an enormous deal to move down with Minnesota. Then the Raiders trade up to 8 and take Penix. Now what do you do? Trade down again and take Nix?
