    I think it's actually closer to 100 mil. And it's not "team friendly" it's just ridiculously backloaded. Anyone could do that, but the bill comes due in a big way down the line.

    Yes, he's on my "sleeper" list. I'd try to go more than one year, though. I dislike the one year deals for players like that if you're rebuilding, Usually means you have to pay them for a year of they suck and if they're good you'll lose them before your team is good.

    He hasn't played more than 11 in 6 years. He'll be 34 early in the season. Less than 7 YPC with Zona and couldn't crack Lions roster. If at least 2 of the 5 mil is incentives I'd say it's an okay deal, nothing to be upset about. But nothing to be excited about either.

    And? Can't wait for his second contract while we see if his "development" pays off. He's a5th round pick who has shown nothing. If he can't produce in year 3, he's a bust. No one is making plans around giving him extra time to develop.
