  1. Love how those reviews always show the blatant fouls the refs miss and that's not reviewable. Wall got hacked across the arms, wonder why he lost the ball out of bounds?
  2. Defense has been phenomenal again. Really great rotation. Using our athleticism to our advantage. Seraphin has that hook working with both hands. Amazing.
  3. The Wizards probably won't win this game, but their team defense has improved dramatically since the trade. Keeping these games close even when we're struggling offensively. I'm impressed.
  4. Back court was horrendous tonight. No excuse for that kind of play. They lost the game, plain and simple.
  5. Another benefit to the Nene trade, hopefully Wall learns how to play in the half court. If we win this it's definitely in spite of him tonight.
  6. Wall needs to get his act together. Just doesn't look amped up to play. Off the ball he's practically useless. Good start for my fantasy team with Nene and Crawford.
  7. I really don't understand why Randy has all these end of quarter/games John Wall isolation plays. It'd be one thing if he was trying to get to the rack, but his jumper (though it has improved) just isn't good enough to warrant that type of play yet.
  8. Beautiful layup by Vesely there. He's been active so far, couple of strong rebounds.
  9. Everyone just exudes confidence right now. The team looks much more poised and controlled.
  10. Javale just won the game for Denver. Hope this trade works out well for all involved. McGee should make a good 3rd or 4th option if he learns the game.
  11. Yeah, might not have been the best way to phrase it. Can't agree with you more about what Nene brings.
  12. Why? It's not like we were planning on resigning either Javale or Nick. Maybe Javale will go on to become an allstar, I highly doubt it, but it could happen. Regardless I'm glad EG came to the conclusion that McGee isn't worth the contract he wants. It's just icing on the cake that he was able to land a top-10 center (when healthy) for them. I've been clamoring for a center like Nene for years now. Someone that can handle the ball face up on a defender and hit a 15 footer or back them down for a hook/kick the ball out to a shooter. Maybe he'll get injured, but it's a calculated risk that could pay off big time. He'll rub off on Wall and our young bigs that are capable of learning.
  13. Wall needs to stop picking up his dribble...seriously, no other PG in the league picks of their dribble after taking a high screen like Wall does. He'll learn playing with Nene. ---------- Post added March-21st-2012 at 09:09 PM ---------- Two sweet pull-up jumpers by Wall. Loving it.
  14. Nene, if he stays healthy, is going to make this team so much better. His ability to catch the ball in the post and command a double and his ability to hit a 15 foot jumper is going to be HUGE. I don't know if it will have a gigantic impact on our win/loss just yet, but I can already tell the team looks better.
  15. Good tank loss. Would have liked to see more balls in the post to Seraphin if only to open up some shots for our shooters. Unlike McGee, Seraphin passes it out of the post. Oh well. Wall had some ridiculously athletic plays and we hung in there against a good team on the road. Liked what I saw.
  16. Ditto, Destino. Just can't get into college ball. Barnes worries me a lot since that's where I see EG going especially with Booker playing better and Nene in town. Seraphin just has much better court sense than McGee. Great passing and touch.
  17. I just like the luck of the team more post-trade and I suspect I'll like it even more with a healthy Nene out there. Things look more organized. No idea if it'll lead to more wins, but based on the eyeball test I like it. Gotta crash the boards harder. The Griz are a ridiculously physical team.
  18. I don't care what the Wizard give up, I very much doubt Otis Smith trades Dwight within his own division
  19. Seraphin plays pretty well when given minutes. Like any young player it helps to get into a groove rather than be thrown in cold for a few spot minutes a game. Solid win. I'm firmly on the tank train but a win like that does nothing but help. If I'm not mistaken that was Nick Young's most assists in his career in a game. Kinda sad and I'm definitely not shocked it came against LA.
  20. Seraphin is the type of big you can win games with. He plays the game with intelligence.
  21. Seraphin's touch is fantastic. Needs to get more minutes, sucks they didn't take that opportunity really when Turiaf and Blatche were out. Good on Witt for sticking with the bench.
