    Also, is there a more useless measure at the combine than the bench press? Replace it with how many times you can clean and jerk 225. That’s a more useful measure of functional strength.

    Are people sleeping on Trey Benson? He ran 4.39 40, the little I saw he caught the ball well and a home run threat at 225 lbs. What am I missing on him?

    I was thinking even later than that now, but I am not as informed as others here XL 4.39 on his 2nd run. I would not be mad to see him at 40.

    Keon Coleman with 4.6. There were separation issues in college, if I’m not mistaken. That’s likely to hurt his stock

    Interesting that Toronto has zero also. They’re supposed to be pretty good and have a sizable fan base. ESPN cramming the same 6 teams over and over again. Their coverage sucks hot holy ass

    Read the definition. Nonprofessional refers to someone not belonging to a certain craft. Unprofessional means a lack of professional decorum. If the guy who asked that question has press credentials, he clearly is part of the press core, he clearly is a professional reporter. The question he asked was tactless, so therefore unprofessional.

    All three of Wood's homers have been rockets--all of them 100+ MPH EV, 400+ moonshots. House's homer was a bomb, Hassell has been hitting the ball hard. While stats in Spring Training are meaningless, these guys aren't hitting BABIP bloopers, they're hitting rockets.

    I want to know the thought process behind putting any combination of Chris Russell, Lynell Willingham, and Doc Walker together, on air, at anytime. Mayhew also didn't have final say, Rivera did. I recall reports of the Marties wanting certain players and Rivera overruling them. (I could also be making that up, it's been known to happen.)

    We saw the opposite this year--even when we were fairly successful when we did run the ball. Every time Russell speaks I just hear nails on the chalkboard.
