  1. I didn't say he is a "bum", I implied he doesn't deserve the label "genius". When you win a SB and games out of cheating (audiogate, spygate, deflategate), when you get owned twice by the same coach in the SB (Coughlin) that means you can't adapt hence you're absolutely not a "genius". Coach Gibbs was a "genius". So far no one wants him even as DC, fwiw I'd rather have Anthony Weaver as our defensive coordinator knowing that Mc Donald likely won't come here.
  2. I enjoy watching the 49ers, but I would like to see a Johnson-Mc Donald rematch.
  3. I do remember too, disgusting to say the least. You still have some media pundits who keep on calling him a "genius" while history proves he's nothing without Brady and his coaching tree sucks. Karma is catching up with him. Hit the road Bill, good riddance.

  5. I liked Oppenheimer, very good performance from Cillian Murphy and RDJr. I was also able to learn a lot of things I didn't know about him and the political intrigues at this time.

  7. Day 2 pick : https://www.thedraftnetwork.com/2024/01/19/malachi-corley-scouting-report-nfl-draft-2024
  8. He's been interviewed by the Falcons, even if he is hired that doesn't necessarily means he'll bring in Weaver. He could choose Jesse Minter.
  9. I'd like to see this rematch, because Mc Donald just destroyed Johnson's offense during the season. I would like to see if Johnson (since he is the favorite to become our HC) have adapted and can beat the Ravens defense. I value adaptability as one of the top quality, that means you're very smart, you're always willing to question your schemes and ultimately you can predict what your opponent will do.
  10. It's not only Keim who's reporting that, some say it's a "done deal". My question wasn't meant to be disrespectuf as you claimed, I was more concerned about the short timeline we have since we're rebuilding from ground up. Since Harris is surrounded by competent people I thought the hiring cycle would be shorter and his team would focus on fewer coaches. We're in a top position in terms of attractiveness to them, so convincing them woudn't be hard. This franchise is so appealing all across the board that I believe they could "fight" to get the jobs here. I think fwiw that Harris wanted Peters before the end of the season, and Peters wants Johnson from the get go. Nevermind
  11. Maybe the Wizards can draft the closest player to Victor, 7-1 Alexandre Sarr
  12. I like Glenn too but I think Weaver has the upside due to his resume, and I suspect some sort of cronyism if we hire Glenn after Johnson.
  13. Not sure about that, but how about DC/assistant HC next Monday (if it matters) ? "We’re all learning on the fly about Commanders owner Josh Harris, who was accompanied by one of his limited partners, Mitchell Rales, at this week’s league meetings in Dallas. And one thing I learned down in Texas over the last few days could at least color how the next couple of months go with the new owners and their team— Harris likes how the Commanders’ beltway rivals from Baltimore do business." Link About Glenn fwiw Aaron Glenn Highest-Rated Coordinator in NFL Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn was the top-rated NFL defensive coordinator, according to a recent survey among players. The NFL Players Association acquired over 1,700 ratings, examining how players felt about the coordinators they play for on a scale of 1-10. Detroit's third-year defensive coordinator is quite popular among the Lions' defensive roster. His no-nonsense, but caring approach makes him quite easy to play for and respect. Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson views Glenn like a parental figure, and his ability to turn around Detroit's defense in a short period of time has been stellar. Detroit's defense was ranked near the bottom of the league in 2022, but has made significant strides in nearly all defensive metrics in 2023. Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson interestingly was not rated in the top five among players. Johnson noted a couple of weeks ago that Glenn should be asked about becoming a future head coach. He has regularly been asked about his coaching future, due to the success of the Lions' offense. "He’s a guy that we should be asking about head coaching. That guy, what he’s done, he’s phenomenal. He’s going to be a phenomenal head football coach when he gets the opportunity to do that," Johnson said of his coordinator counterpart. "And, I think when you bring those types of questions up, you need to make sure you’re asking them to him as well. But, the focus right now is on the Minnesota Vikings. "That’s all we care about, and like I said before, we are obligated to each other to keep our focus on the main thing.” Dave Fipp, meanwhile, was voted as the No. 4-ranked special teams coordinator.
