World Cup: Sunil Gulati says US may bid to host 2026 tournament, but "not unless the rules change"
I say USA should take on the evil empire and host the 2022 edition.

Argentina is kicking Germany's ass in Dusseldorf 4-1 with 15 minutes remaining.
Why did Monaco want to unload him in the first place? Guardian Football Weekly podcast wasn't very high on him (and Cavani). Don't understand because Falcao scores at an amazing clip.
Regardless, good signing for Utd. Don't know if it's "attracting talent" or "home of last resort for very talented but unwanted players". If it's the latter, not a bad problem to have.
Financial fairplay, Monaco can't generate enough tickets and merchandises sales, and on top of that Rybolovlev has to pay €50 millions to the french league to keep his tax headquarters in Monaco.
He has health problems and he is still waiting for his monegasque passport.
Cost of divorce €3.3 billions !
Edit: 4-2 Argentina (auto goal Fernandez)

Monaco setting its sights on Cruzeiro for Ricardo Goulart, and is also interested in Roberto Soldado.
I seriously have a bone to pick here.
IF we are all of a sudden looking everywhere for a keeper... then why didn't we go after a FREE Memo Ochoa?
Ochoa is talented but inconsistent. He isn't free he's (not) playing for Malaga, he was benched.

According to As Falcao is on his way to ManU on a one year loan worth €11.5 millions plus option for final transfer on a 4 years deal worth €9 millions/year. Total transfer fee would be around €65 millions. Chicharito will be traded to Real.
See the look on his face, hide your joy man, it's official you and your used veyron are expendable.

Latest rumor: according to Sport Mediaset an agreement had been reached between Monaco and Real Madrid for Falcao on a €20 millions loan, plus an option for final transfer. The Italian media says that this would push KB to the evil empire (PSG). Sport Mediaset evokes a discussion between President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Florentino Perez on the sidelines of the draw for the Champions League with picture support.

He does realise he would'nt of fetched anything like that fee if Utd hadn't been desperate and Madrid hadn't taken full advantage right?
Hypocrit. He'll fit right in.
Hail.
He will, because their coach is a "genius"
we were five!!!

"Unfortunately I have to leave, it was never my intention. As anyone who works, I still want to improve. After la Decima I went to the World Cup with the hope of getting a sign from the management. That has never happened, lot of lies have been told, they always wanted to blame me because I was the one who wanted to leave, but it did not happen that way. Unfortunately, I am not compliant to the football views of some people. All I asked was to be treated fairly. There are several things that I took into account, not just my salary. Hopefully find them at Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, with whom I hope to make history, "said di Maria
Surprinsigly he didn't mention the rumor saying he got mad because Real forced Sabella to bench him during the final of the WC.
As for Bale, a talented player but not worth his insane transfer fee.

Di Maria should go to Man Utd. Puts a end to a distraction and honestly I think he'd do well at Utd. Makes up for missing out on Kroos.
He's going to ManU for €70 millions (including bonus), he'll make €8 millions/year (he previously made €3.5 millions/year).
Nice slap in the face to the evil empire.

"He must comply with the code of conduct of the club like everybody. His last chance? At the highest level, yes. It's all or nothing. Mario is 24 years old. No more age excuse, he is not ready to be a leader. With Steven Gerrard, Mario will be tutored and will play at his best. Mario needs to remove that pressure, " Mino Raiola.

I feel like it would be pretty weird being a fan of a La Liga team. Aren't most of their news and fan sites in Spanish? How do you get news regularly?
I feel like it's easy with EPL because the language is basically the same...to a point lol
If you use firefox you can use the add-on google translator, despite the few translation mistakes you'll be able to get most of the articles. Here is the link to Kiosko which is a best of the world's newspapers (translation button on the upper right).

Fined for misconduct
The Guardian revealed on Friday that a clause was included in Super Mario's contract at the request of Brendan Rodgers. It stipulates that in case of delay in training, of any wrongdoing or trouble with his teammates, the former Manchester City striker will be heavily fined.
It seems that this transfer was decided by the front office after the setbacks on the Remy, Falcao and Cavani deals.
If Mario learns LFC is going to kick some asses.
Edit: According to Mundo deportivo Reus turned down an offer from Barcelona, he wants to play for FC Bayern next year. Interesting since BvB's front office is strongly opposed to this move.

That's not what I heard.
Yeah, those player plus money deals rarely materialize.

Khedira was hoping to get a salary increase through his WC title, but Real did not really appreciate the attitude of the player and his agent, Marca reports. Now they want to trade him right now rather than see him go free next year. Carlo Ancelotti was also not select his player during the European Super Cup game against FC Sevilla. A clear message to him. Chelski and Arsène are interested.
