  1. Not sure how they have worked that! This is what Barcelona got dinged for with the transfer embargo - signing junior players when they should not have been was it not?

Absolutely, I guess Chelski is smarter. They bribed the family for €1 million, and he is a Chelsea fan. He rejected offers from  ManU, City, Arsenal, PSG, Monaco, Toulouse, Rennes and Liverpool.

That doesn't mean he'll be great, Chelsea got a similar deal with Kakuta when he was 16, now he's 23 and plays in Spain (loan).

  2. In England you cant sign pro forms until you are 17 and transfers of players from foreign countries within the EU are not possible until the player is 16 when he can sign on a 2 year apprenticeship with their academy. Hence I assume why this deal is only able to go through when Tie turns 16.

He's already theirs, ManU and Arsenal can't touch him. He'll be officially transfered when he'll be 16. Now he's spending his vacation time in their training facility in Cobham and every trimester they send Hilario to supervise him.

  3. Chelski has signed Nicolas Tié 13 years old 6-1 GK ! Journalists are not allowed to shoot interview him on radio or TV. The transfer fee is €200,000 , he'll be eligible to play when he'll be 16.

  4. Lavezzi has officially blown a gasket. Late to report to training camp he wants to quit.

"Once I leave football, I will definitely stay away from it The worst? The inside environment fueled only by interest. All is not as it is shown from the outside ",  blasted the Argentinian, ready to start a fight with some people ...

Following Cavani, now PSG got a problem with Motta's attiture in the locker room and his lack of commitment for the team's off the field activities.

  5. You really need to keep reading the UK rags for transfer 'news'.  EVERY decent player has been or is currently being linked with an EPL side.  Seems every player (and most coaches) are immenently coming to the EPL.

Not a chance RM sells Benzema.  RM are a buying team, not a selling team.

Pool need to hope they can get some new nets and a couple match balls for that complete flop Balotelli.

They buy and sell like others, see my reference to Di Maria - Rodriguez trades. Give them Aguerro and we'll see if they won't dump KB. If I remember correctly Real tried to trade for Suarez and KB was a part of the deal. As far as I know, he is the only starter  who is year in year out on the trade rumors. Last but not least Mario is hopeless, he'll never learn and will keep on ruining his talent.

  6. In 258 games for Madrid, dude has 125 goals. Thats a pre-Messi/pre-C. spellbounding rate of goals.

You've got to put these numbers into perspective, how many times did he score vs top teams when needed ?

    Last year's champions league

2 games vs Juventus, no goals

2 games vs Dortmund no goals

2 games vs Bayern 1 goal

Final vs Athletico won 4-1 no goals

When playing for France: He holds the record : 11 games  without a goal !

When he scores it's vs weak teams such as Australia (no offense to our friends from down under). Without Real's supporting cast he's nothing, that's what will always separate him from the true good players who can make something happen all by themselves.

  7. why do people think Madrid will sell Benzema? All he does is score and they have won the champions league with him leading the line. On top of that, he is a Perez buy and a big time Perez guy. Benzema is not going anywhere. Especially not in no damn January window lol.

This has been put out in some form for the last 18 months, and it makes no sense to me. Madrid doesnt have a Benzema replacement and on top of that, there arent that many top strikers that are better than Benzema available. (Why? because there really arent that many out there)

I am really tired of seeing "Benzema to..."

and that wasnt aimed at you FrFran, but to the rags who keep reporting this crap.

As you noticed it's rumor and this has to be taken accordingly. On the other hand I guess if a club is dumb or desperate enough to throw this insane amount of money for him, Real might trade him. I would, but I'm not Perez, and I don't follow Real that much so I don't know if Chicharito would be able to take over.

More likely like you suggested, a trade for Aguerro like the Di Maria - Rodriguez one. He his a Perez guy, but everytime he doesn't perform the fans are very quick to boo him like no other Real player. Maybe this is one reason why every season there are rumors that Real will trade him, again like no other player. He has not been able to establish himself as a cornerstone of this team in offense, people tend to see him as expendable.

  8. where are the hackers? why can't they get to this documents of this investigation and release it to the world?

Maybe because he'll do it by himself ? (I hope so). Best way to definitely ruined Blatter's candidacy.

  9. Michael Garcia: Fifa investigator resigns in World Cup report row

"bidding for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

The American lawyer cited a "lack of leadership" at the top of football's world governing body.

Garcia said he lost confidence in the independence of judge Hans-Joachim Eckert, an ethics committee colleague.

Uefa president Michel Platini said: "We wanted all transparency but this is a new failure for Fifa."

The head of European football spoke out as Garcia resigned a day after Fifa's appeals panel rejected his challenge of Eckert's summary of his report.

Garcia said: "It is the lack of leadership on these issues within Fifa that leads me to conclude that my role in this process is at an end."

Fifa president Sepp Blatter said: "I am surprised by Mr Garcia's decision. The work of the ethics committee will nonetheless continue."

The association said in a statement that an acting chairman of the committee would be appointed, pending the election of a successor to Garcia."

    Tic tac tic tac Blatter

"World football's governing body then published an edited version of his report, which cleared Qatar and Russia of wrongdoing. Mr Garcia said that version "contains numerous materially incomplete and erroneous representations". Link

  10. This would make me sick. They couldn't possibly spend more money on offense until they bring in some defenders...could they?

I think he'll sent Falcoa back to Monaco, so that's one free spot to fill (Cavani). I think he wants Reus or Rakitic probably as an insurance policy, since la Roma won't let Strootman leave. He clearly wants to overload the midfield. You're right he could focus more on defense, but that's Van Gaal and he's a "genius" :P
