  1. Actually, the funny thing is that I really do believe that Arsenal can advance THIS year.

I know that that score-line would normally be a death sentence, but if you look at Giroud missing that sitter, Welbeck hitting his own player and over instead of into an empty net, along with several other GREAT chances, Arsenal easily scores 3 or 4.  Get a little lucky and make those chances in Monaco, I think you may have something.

    Please don't get RawBBQSauce giddy ! ;)

I agree Monaco got lucky but credit is due to Jardim's strategy (including 2 key defensive backs missing).

Stats say: 98.2% chance of qualifying for Monaco, 164 teams having won 3-1 away in the first leg in the European Cups (since the 1970-1971 season), 161 have qualified after the second leg. 0% in the CL

Even if the chances are very slim, as our English friends say try, try, and try again.

  2. Woe is us. Such is the life of a Gooner/Skins fan.

At least a 2-0 result away at Monaco isn't completely inconceivable.

Here comes FrFan to told us he warned us about celebrating the Monaco draw

SHOULD HAVE STARTED OX! Welbeck DOES NOT cut it on the wings.

Here you go my friend ;)

I think it's time to part ways with Arsene.

Let's see what Arsenal can do in Monaco

Crossing my fingers we get Monaco. That would be cool for AW, too.

Be aware what you wish for. Monaco's defense is getting better, history shows that ManU and Chelsea paid the price for having underestimated them.

  3. PSG's squad is set up looked like a top EPL team yesterday.

One domestic national in the starting 11.

That's a shame, Chelski has 2. I'm just wondering how fans can root for mercenaries teams ? I blame Bosman for this.

The evil empire is developing the training center for local youth talent after they failed to keep Kingsley Coman. The budget is €9 millions, they had 5 scouts last year, this year they have 21. Now it remains to be seen how many of them will make the team vs the big splashy mercenaries.

  4. Really hope PSG show up today

Almost ! I guess history might repeats itself, PSG should have beaten Chelsea like last year, but ....

Blanc's days are numbered, the evil empire is setting its sights on Diego Simeone.

Al Khelaifi tried to sign Reus but his agent rebuffed him.

  5. PSG already making it even easier for Chelski, 6 players injured (4 in the last game finishing with 9 on the field) Motta, Marquinhos, Aurier, Cabaye, Lucas, Pastore.

  6. Real under investigation on a couple of youngsters (14 and 15) for failing to comply with fifa rules. The club could face a recruiting ban just like Barca. According to AS Barca is the cause of the investigation, after being denounced itself by three other clubs.

  7. Not sure how they have worked that! This is what Barcelona got dinged for with the transfer embargo - signing junior players when they should not have been was it not?

Absolutely, I guess Chelski is smarter. They bribed the family for €1 million, and he is a Chelsea fan. He rejected offers from  ManU, City, Arsenal, PSG, Monaco, Toulouse, Rennes and Liverpool.

That doesn't mean he'll be great, Chelsea got a similar deal with Kakuta when he was 16, now he's 23 and plays in Spain (loan).

  8. In England you cant sign pro forms until you are 17 and transfers of players from foreign countries within the EU are not possible until the player is 16 when he can sign on a 2 year apprenticeship with their academy. Hence I assume why this deal is only able to go through when Tie turns 16.

He's already theirs, ManU and Arsenal can't touch him. He'll be officially transfered when he'll be 16. Now he's spending his vacation time in their training facility in Cobham and every trimester they send Hilario to supervise him.

  9. Chelski has signed Nicolas Tié 13 years old 6-1 GK ! Journalists are not allowed to shoot interview him on radio or TV. The transfer fee is €200,000 , he'll be eligible to play when he'll be 16.

  10. Lavezzi has officially blown a gasket. Late to report to training camp he wants to quit.

"Once I leave football, I will definitely stay away from it The worst? The inside environment fueled only by interest. All is not as it is shown from the outside ",  blasted the Argentinian, ready to start a fight with some people ...

Following Cavani, now PSG got a problem with Motta's attiture in the locker room and his lack of commitment for the team's off the field activities.
