    I wanted Ochoa badly after the WC.  He was linked to us and Arsenal, but he ended up going to neither.  Not sure what the deal was?

    Correction he didn't play for Bastia but for the local rival Ajaccio. He was free to sign anywhere, and then was benched by Malaga because of poor outings during the preseason friendlies.

    Ochoa is a sub with Malaga, despite some inconsistency he has talent.

    Don't know if a trade can be made but here is the Gem: Areola playing for Bastia on a loan from PSG.

    From what I read, he turned down Liverpool AND Arsenal :o ... Right?   :lol:   I said he turned down Arsenal :o .

     

    He's a weathercok, he first turned down Lyon, then decided to resign, Aulas did turned down Liverpool, Newcastle, and Arsenal offers :D. The guy is smart he knows next year Lacazette's value is going to climb up. It is believed that he's more motivated because he wants to be a part of team France for the next Euro.

    If Dan did intervene and pressured Mike to go after RG3, it's because Mike was an idiot, and didn't even draft a single QB before RG3.

     

    How long do you want Dan to sit idly by, watching the clowns Mike was trying at QB? If you were a "hands off" owner, how many years into a rebuild would it take you getting those hands dirty, and start pushing for a QB to be drafted? 

     

    How is he wiser than anyone else to select a QB ? I remember last time Snyder was enamored with a QB it was with Sanchez.

    2010 only 2 QB were drafted in the first round Bradford and Tebow. In the second only one Clausen, and I do remember that he was labelled the most NFL ready QB of the draft. That was a putrid draft for QBs.

    2011 Scam was unreachable at 1st, Locker, Gabbert and Ponder were selected before we picked, did you expect Shanny to trade up for those 3 ? I don't think you can blame him for not selecting a QB during these 2 drafts.

    Just because (with MASSIVE apologies to our French friend), the one game in Anfields rich history I wasn't at (through age) I dearly wish I would of been. The '77 quarter final second leg against the wonderful French Champions St. Etienne.

    Argentina is kicking Germany's ass in Dusseldorf 4-1 with 15 minutes remaining.


    Why did Monaco want to unload him in the first place? Guardian Football Weekly podcast wasn't very high on him (and Cavani). Don't understand because Falcao scores at an amazing clip. 

     

    Regardless, good signing for Utd. Don't know if it's "attracting talent" or "home of last resort for very talented but unwanted players". If it's the latter, not a bad problem to have. 

    Financial fairplay, Monaco can't generate enough tickets and merchandises sales, and on top of that Rybolovlev has to pay €50 millions to the french league to keep his tax headquarters in Monaco.

    He has health problems and he is still waiting for his monegasque passport.

    Cost of divorce €3.3 billions !

    Monaco setting its sights on Cruzeiro for Ricardo Goulart, and is also interested in Roberto Soldado.


    I seriously have a bone to pick here.

     

    IF we are all of a sudden looking everywhere for a keeper... then why didn't we go after a FREE Memo Ochoa?

    Ochoa is talented but inconsistent. He isn't free he's (not) playing for Malaga, he was benched.

    According to As Falcao is on his way to ManU on a one year loan worth €11.5 millions plus option for final transfer on a 4 years deal worth €9 millions/year. Total transfer fee would be around €65 millions. Chicharito will be traded to Real.

    See the look on his face, hide your joy man, it's official you and your used veyron are expendable.
