We won so Hopkins isn't getting replaced yet... but it's gotta be a short leash.

Despite the fact that we're not very good, we have a good football game developing here.

Going off history, I predict we have an underwhelming win of some sort.

Something like we're up 13-0 at half and end up winning 16-14 on an ATL missed FG as time expires.

That's holding on #74. 

Plaxico's gotta be a contender for shooting himself in the leg at the club. 

And Jayson Williams for sure.... shot and killed his limo driver with a shotgun by accident being a drunk dumbass.

Football is a 3 team game too.

TB/KC/Cleveland have offenses that put up points and quickly. The opposing teams have more drives/opportunities and are trying to keep pace. 

Steelers.... simply can't run the football. 

Tennessee... is a different team when Henry is running like he was in the 2nd half yesterday. 

Things start to even out over the course of the season. We were saying the same things about Chase Young last year until he had some big games. 

Heinicke has it. He's a baller. 

But if we're not targeting a franchise QB in the draft then we're really dumb.... and will probably be trading first round picks for Gorrapolo at some point lol. 

Now we have extra time to prepare for Buffalo 

2-1 sounds really nice.

An all-time great. I can think of so many funny bits/jokes/interviews/etc. Just remembering them makes you laugh.

Why didn't we sign him again?

There's only 2 positives I saw in the game, otherwise we got our asses kicked.

1. Carter looked good in returns.

2. We took our TOs and actually drove the field in 45 seconds for a FG at the end of the first half. Haven't seen a Washington QB do that.....maybe never lol. Heinicke actually worked the sidelines.

Its not just the D. Their offense already stopped running the ball. 

Zeke has 4 carries. Dak 28 passes.

We play Dallas late both games. At this pace Dak won't last by then.

Just feels like last year. Half the country is following protocols and the other half doesn't care. (maybe closer to 70-30)

Where I live, once the evenning starts there is no covid and no one cares about any mandates.

RG3 was a fundamentally flawed athlete. That wasn't a freak injury, guy couldn't protect his body.

The final score of a preseason game does not matter. We all know this. By the 4th quarter you have the practice squad in or you face a team like the preseason champion Ravens. 

However, our first unit didn't create a scoring drive the entire preseason. 

Saying that matters is not the same argument as saying the final score matters. We've watched that translate into the regular season for decades.(even Osaka days, our first team offense didn't roll out there and dominate against the opposing starters)

The coaches didn't trot out the starters in the 3rd game so they're confident though. Based on history I'm skeptical. On paper I'm optimistic at least.
