I dont know who needs to hear this but HES NOT EVEN A GOOD SHORT YARDAGE RUNNER.
Sigh. Felt good lol.
On paper he's actually a good short yardage runner:
Last season he was 12-17 on 3rd downs and 4-4 on 4th down. (70% and 100% conversion rates)
The coaches like him mainly because he doesn't fumble and he plays special teams. (0 fumbles last year, 130 ST snaps) So another RB is going to have to take those ST snaps if we cut Barber.
I predict we keep Barber and release Patterson. I also predict Patterson will clear waivers and we will see him again sometime in the future. 17 games is a long season. (just a prediction, no one wants to watch Peyton Barber and his 2.7 YPC)

Yea, you have to double up when the roster size is really big.

Probably the same for NE, but we got the 2nd/3rd string teams in there atm.

It's strange to me how much Advija is valued versus Kuzma.
Deni's still only 20.

Internet has Gafford listed at 6’10 and Turner at 6’11. Not sure that means anything though because nba heights are all off.Gafford is super lanky with a thin frame. Turner has 15-20 lbs on him easy.

We have a defensive center though. Look at this 36 and per 100 comparison with Daniel Gafford last season.
Gafford is definitely undersized though. There's Montrezl Harrell on the roster who's also undersized and Thomas Bryant doesn't play defense.
Not a huge fan of Myles Turner... he's always jacking up too many three's but I'd mark it as a positive move.

Fun 2nd half for team USA bball.
Clamped down on D and started knocking down shots.

So, 2 2nd rounders, 2025 pick swap w/ Brooklyn, and Hutchinson. 3 years $62M. That doesn't sound like much if anything. Great deal. We're hoping for the 2019 Dinwiddie that averaged 20/7.
This doesn't feel like the final roster either. Deni/Rui/Kuzma/KCP/Bertans - one or two from this group will probably be gone. I hope we keep Harrell but I suppose him too.

Ruh roh.
An outbreak certainly won't look good from a PR perspective from the league's least vaccinated team.

Man, at some point past like 2am his informercial would be the only thing on TV. Had plenty of nights watching the Showtime Rotisserie informercial for hours straight, completely lit with my buddies at like 3am. RIP

I'm not that big on gymnastics, but 24 isn't that bad, is it? I thought she was still on fire the last major competitions she did before trials. Then again, I'm 25, so I'm still trying to deny there's certain thing even I'm too old for.
Im no expert, but the girls on the Russian team that won gold are 16-20.
Being younger and smaller has to be an advantage in a sport where you're tumbling/flipping around.

Simon at 24 is simply old for gymnastics and she didn't perform.
Its a young sport.

I was wondering what people more familiar with Westbrook's recent play think about how he would fit on the Lakers if he did end up there.
The intention is clear, if you put Westbrook at the 1 its a ridiculously big and physical lineup in LA. Other teams won't be able to matchup.
Other then that, Westbrook is limited offensively these days. He doesn't have a jumper, is suspect from 3 and had an abysmal year from the FT line. His 100% go motor creates havoc in transition for opposing defenses but also creates some really boneheaded, unforced turnovers. His game is 100% more hustle then you.
Russ gonna Russ is the best explanation. Off the court he might be a positive. He's all about the game and putting in the hard work. Lebron seems to like him and his game.
