  1. Irvin on pregame, Aikman in the booth, I fully expect E. Smith to be a referee!
  2. Yeah, if I were betting $ on this one, I damn sure flip the score lol
  3. My heart wants to give our squad the bounce back win…… My brain says we’ve been watching this movie on a continuous loop for nearly 30 years. 1) Prime Time game 2) Losing streak to a division opponent 3) Opponent played horribly the previous week 4) Little to no production from our QB 5) Hyped up side of the ball, underperforming 6) Favored in Vegas 7) Opponents fans may outnumber ours In my mind, this is a no-brainer….. WFT - 30 NYG - 13 What can I say? With no money involved, I bet with my heart! 😎 **** NY!!
  4. I’ll bring beer, pop, water, cooler, ice, and some desserts!
  5. I’m in @pez! Been a fan since 1985, a member of ES since 2005, this year marks my first as a STH, and I’m also a member of the F.A.N. I also bought season PPs in the Redzone lot. Let me know what I can do to help! I’ve been to more games than I can count in 35 years, but my kids are finally grown and out of the house, so now I have the time to make the long drive to every game, hence why I waited so long to become a STH. I would love to help however I can!
  6. I agree, but I would be surprised if we were to find out that RR and co. hadn’t at least been sniffing around Brown. Everyone knows that LT is one of the team’s top priorities this offseason. Brown had been a LT his entire life until he was drafted by Baltimore, and has still made multiple pro bowls as a RT. Him wanting to go back to LT is really at the behest of his late father, “Zeus”, who always told him to shoot for LT, so he can “get paid”. We’ve been spoiled for the last 2+ decades at the LT position in Washington. Both Samuels and big Trent were considered one of the best in the game during their respective tenures. What I’m about to say, in no way demeans the importance of the LT position, but in 20 years or so of being set at this one position, how much success has the organization seen? Yes, I know the importance of the LT position. I’m not at all saying that the team SHOULDN’T be looking to upgrade the position, because I believe they absolutely should. I’m just not in the camp of necessarily having to use pick 19 on that position. I lean towards trading for Brown, especially if the asking price is relatively low. He’s been playing RT at a high level, but just happened to be drafted to a team that has a stud in place at LT. He seems pretty motivated to prove that he’s a better LT than he is a RT. Very likely scenario here. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least, if Brown is still available come Draft Day, and the WFT’s prospect LTs are off the board at 19, to see some sort of trade being done that evening.
  7. Yes, we get linked to many players, every year lol. It seems that some of the “experts” on various websites(ESPN, NFL Network, etc) are in agreement with you. I’ve seen a couple of videos now with people saying the Ravens would like to get a Laremy Tunsil type deal(who wouldn’t?), but sources in the organization say that it will probably be more in the area of a 3rd round pick.
  8. Im feeling the same way. Thirty five years of diehard fandom up in the air. This team was the only thing my dad and I had in common during my childhood. I shed tears of joy while going to my first game as a kid and shed even bigger tears when I was finally able to take my son to his first game, three years ago. Thousands of hours, tens of thousands of dollars, and countless memories (good and bad) for a lifelong love affair that may end up being exposed as a drug fueled, rapey, and downright immoral 3-ring circus, with that little ****sucker with a Napoleon Complex at the helm. For me, it was already weird having to get used to a new team nickname. If just some of these rumors prove to be true, it will truly be a sad day for my family, immediate and extended, that are spread out all over Virginia, with my shared love for who I’ve always referred to as the “Good Guys”.
  9. Amen! I’m not gonna lie, I was stoked when he made the moves he did, at the time. My dad and I were sitting in our break room at work while we were watching Deion’s press conference. I couldn’t stand that SOB, but I was over the moon about the fact that our secondary would consist of Deion, Champ, and DG. My dad just shook his head and said “We’re gonna fall off from last year.” I said “You’re crazy! We are now the overwhelming favorite to win the Super Bowl.” According to Vegas, we were the favorite, but what an extremely disappointing season! The sad part is, is the franchise has went downhill from there, with no end to the spiral in sight. My dad’s last game was the last playoff game against GB. He passed away about 2 weeks later, just a couple of days after his favorite musician, Glenn Frey, died. He was upbeat about the future with “you know who” at QB. I miss my dad, but I’m glad he hasn’t had to witness anymore of the laughingstock our beloved Redskins continue to be.
  10. The 1999 season saw the Skins go 5-3 in each half of the season, win the division, reach the playoffs for the first time in 7 years, and win a playoff game. Thats why expectations were were so high going into the 2000 season when the future HOFers were added to a good team.
