Ya, two west coast trips in Janurary coming up.

First one will tell us a lot, but looking at the second one most of them look winnable, even on the road. What I really find interesting is last year we were a much better road team then home team. This year it looks like we're really focused on taking care of home, I'd love to seeif they can combine that with the tenacity they had on the road last year.

Didn't we have identical home and road records last year? And the beef wasn't that we were better on the road but that we should be better at home?

21st and F, middle of GW campus, I saw somebody rocking a #3 Juan Dixon Wizards jacket (the old blue, black, gold style Wiz getup). Besides Dixon and the old style, it was actually pretty nice

But yeah, completely agree with you obviously. Whenever I hear someone trying tu push that BS, I ask them to name me an NFL player who's been arrested for a violent crime fairly recently. Then ask them to name an NBA player who has (I follow the NBA pretty closely and I can't think of one off the top of my head)

Wall is just so good right now. Honestly, no way he isn't top 5 in MVP voting as of now this year.

The thing that bugs me about talking Wall on the Internets and legitimately making that argument, his MVP candidacy status, with fans of other teams that probably aren't watching too many Wizards games, is they can look at stats all they want but for the most part, they're not truly grasping just how good he is defensively, probably undoubtedly the best defensive PG in the league. It's a shame.

And don't know if I posted it here or elsewhere, but I've been trying to think of other players who, like Wall, can score 10 points and still COMPLETELY dominate, dictate and control a game. And do that on the regular.

If it was at all possible to get both Monroe AND Durant, I think that undoubtedly means that Beal is gone. So then the question becomes Beal or Monroe. Personally I'm going Beal and it's not even close.

Yeah, this. Picking up Monroe (and then inking him longterm) essentially kills any possibility of Durant coming home. Just ugh. That would haunt me until my last days.
