If any of these presidential election poll results are from opt-in online polling, holy ****...that type of polling should ONLY be used for stuff like measuring buying habits or feedback on new TV shows, stuff like that.

I brought up this same tactic that Dems were reported to have used for the 2022 midterms, and it may have played a role in why the "Red Wave" turned into a pink trickle lol..

I just watched Incendies...holy cow. This falls in that City Of God/Hotel Rwanda arena, except it's not a true story...but its story has twists, mysteries, heartache, and is told in a realistic and powerful way. Even when I figured out certain things before the movie tells us, everything still hit hard. There are a number of scenes that are almost brutally realistic--some incredibly subtle, some incredibly blunt and unsanitized.

To be fair, I can't tell from that clip if he was starting to list the men who signed the Declaration Of Independence, or if he was naming other people you can/will meet in addition to the men who signed it. Either way, none of those dudes would make the top 50,000 on my "People I Want To Meet In Heaven" list.

I saw Poor Things...holy **** lol. Loved it. And, no, I'm most definitely not the type of guy who gets bent out of shape if a movie has a "feminist" slant to the story, couldn't give less of a **** as long as the movie is well made and funny/tense/scary/whatever genre take your pick. And Emma Stone was phenomenal. 👍👍...The art direction was superb as well. I loved that it wasn't meant to look realistic in many moments, but more dream-like. And it was very funny in numerous moments. The negatives: Margaret Qualley was miscast. She took me out of the movie every time she was on screen (which, thankfully, was not much). And the movie gave some contradictory messages when all was said and done. The soundtrack was a bit grating at times, though I think that may have been the intent. And I more or less saw the ending coming a mile away, so it didn't really pack much of a punch when the credits rolled.

Saw this movie years ago...it is indeed outstanding.

Perhaps reflecting the enduring impact of this long-term age gap, voters ages 30 to 49 were also solidly in the Democratic candidate’s camp in 2020, favoring Biden by 12 points (55%-43%)" From a poll a few days ago that was posted earlier (no idea if this poll was conducted by Political Polls or someone else, they don't say): I've said before, there is a significant difference between giving your opinion on a poll...which is easy to do and effects nothing, and giving your vote in an election...which can be time-consuming and effects everything. I don't believe for a nanosecond that Biden's support among 18-34 year olds nosedived by 21 points, and that it did due to his age lol... To me, poll watching is like over-analyzing every single pass thrown by a rookie QB during his first training camp...and then reaching conclusions about the rookie's chances in the NFL after each throw.
