I'm thinking back to when the Supreme Court said states couldn't disqualify Trump from the presidential election because it would mean one state would dictate who becomes president...and I tossed up the theoretical scenario of a candidate not meeting a state's requirements to be put on the ballot--said does the SC's decision meant that states can no longer have laws that dictate who can and cannot be put on their ballots for national elections. Because those laws would also mean one state would "dictate who becomes president." -

Heard on MSNBC (I think) that generally the bond amount would need to be no more than 10% of the issuing company's cash on hand. In Trump's case, the bond amount is something like 127% of that company's cash on hand. I could have all that wrong, by the way lol...

Well, they're my ex-in-laws, not my in-laws lol...but even after my ex-wife and I broke up my relationship with my ex-wife's family remains strong (as does my ex-wife's relationship with my family). We seriously all get along fantastic--her family, my family, all of us. As of course does my ex-wife and I, we're all still close. -

Should ("should") make journalists' jobs much easier...just ask every Republican running for office if they believe the election Biden won in 2020 was legitimate or stolen. If they say "legitimate" they lose out on RNC money, cuz Trump and his daughter-in-law aren't gonna stand for that. If they say "stolen" they lose out on votes because election deniers have absolutely tanked in elections over the past 2 years.
