Nope, not being sarcastic...I mean, look at the foolishness I wrote about Jones on this thread last Monday: "His last game against us he was downright mediocre...and that was the first time he had beaten a Heinicke-led Washington team lol...I mean, he threw for a whopping 160 yards and averaged 5 yards per attempt. That was 4 weeks ago."

I don't grasp the mindset that the root of poverty is laziness. Any government program aimed at helping those in poverty should never have a foundation of "We're gonna give you the bare minimum, because if we allow you to have more than the minimum you're not gonna want to work." It's an idiotic stance to take and shows no understanding of poverty whatsoever. Open up a Walmart in the dead center of a neighborhood with a huge percentage on welfare, and there will be a line around the block of people applying for jobs. "They don't want to get off welfare" is a delusional fever dream in the heads of some...but that's all it is. There should be a way to allocate different amounts from SNAP/EBT to different purchases...like, if you have a child, 50% of the total amount must be spent on certain items, or something along those lines. If you have no children, spend it on whatever ****ing groceries you want. That's really the only restriction I'd care about, don't want people who have kids and are on welfare letting their kids go hungry each month so that they can by lobster tail. But if you don't have kids I don't give a flying ****. Maybe instead of SNAP the government should have a grocery delivery system in place and buy the groceries for everyone..like a Dharma Initiative food drop from "Lost" lol...

Nah...no way in hell there was any chance that the Biden doc story coming out 4 days before the election would have changed anything, at all. For starters, a ****load of voters had already voted early and thus before the document story would have come out. Second, the list of reasons people did not want a republican congress easily overwhelms any negative repercussions that might have been generated from the Biden doc story at the time. People cared far more about: - the conservative Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade - republican politicians saying en masse that they want to force 14 year old rape victims to carry their pregnancy - the GOP being totally against student loan forgiveness - GOP candidates not shutting the hell up about "stolen" elections - have candidates so stupid they talk about vampires and werewolves instead of policy - thinking the republican ex-president declassifying top secret documents with his mind made total sense I'm sure Biden wasn't in any rush to personally tell the public he found classified documents he took with him, but I'm not thinking it was any type of him beating the republicans at their own game. I agree completely, though, that nobody will care 2 years from now and that the GOP investigating will result in little more than fevered tweeting by people whose reputations were flushed down the toilet long ago anyway (with the caveat that if--IF--the GOP investigations actually turn up some legit evidence of foul play, then all bets are off).

Anyone else remember the FBI "whistleblower" who told some right-wing hack that Biden was now making them categorize additional crimes as Hate crimes...only it appeared to merely be Biden reversing Trump's command to stop categorizing certain crimes as Hate crimes, and nothing whatsoever came from it? Anyone else remember all the Twitter "reports" about Nancy Pelosi's home surveillance cameras "mysteriously" stopped working during her husband's attack...only to find out later that none of it was true and that numerous reports had already stated officials had reviewed the video footage? Anyone remember how gleeful some conservatives were at these stories, shoving their hands immediately down their pants while reading them on Twitter?
