  1. The world wouldn't end if he sat the year either. I doubt that they would do that though after signing the guys they did though but sitting a QB for a year does seem to be a successful strategy.
  2. Because there is probably a 5-10% chance that any of these QBs turn out to be equal to Mahomes, Allen, Burrow.
  3. The last draft that I remember where the 3 top QBs didn't start right away was when Eli, Rivers, and Roth, all didn't start for a while and they all might get into the HOF. Carson Palmer sat an entire year, Rodgers sat 3, Mahomes sat 15/16 of a season, Cousins sat 15/16 of year 1 and clearly turned out better than the #2 overall pick. I can't even remember guys who sat and sucked. I knew that Love was going to be garbage if they started him but he sits for years then comes in and by the playoffs looks like an MVP. Much better than the actual MVP did in the playoffs in fact.
  4. I never asked the question all this time because I didn't want to know but apparently my wife did so she asked my cancer Dr. what stage my cancer is and he said "Oh, it's always been stage 4" Thanks! That's why I never asked lol. All stage 4 means is that it went from one place to another. So if it goes from your lungs to your lymph nodes then it's stage 4. Mine is the pancreas though which is supposed to be horrible but I've been mostly ok. But I've had it for years now. 3 years ago it was diagnosed but it was already a huge 20cm x 15cm blob and attached to pancreas and stomach. Then the surgeon cut it all out and months later it returned on my liver. Then 6 months of chemo reduced it 50% but the Y90 radiation is awesome and totally removed it for 6 months. It wasn't 1 spot on my liver it was more like 25 little spots all over so that radiation really kicks ass and is much better than the chemo. I didn't really get too sick from it. Everybody says radiation sucks but Y90 isn't the same thing. It's injected and nano particles find and targets the cancer, somehow. I can't remember everything. Now it's back on my liver again unfortunately but at least I know that it's possible to make it disappear for a while. So I might last a few more years after all unless it spreads. But it hasn't other than after my surgery where it's guaranteed that little microscopic pieces were floating around after it was cut out. (Before the diagnosis I was having occasional burning sensation after eating too much but a glass of water made it go away most of the time. The hospital I went to 2 years prior told me it was heartburn but it was so painful that I didn't believe them but never had it checked out again. If they had done a ct scan instead of an ultrasound they probably would have seen it then. My surgeon said it was a very slow growth cancer so it had been there for years. I was 48 when it was diagnosed. The surgeon tested it twice before removing it and both times was wrong on what type of cancer it was.The VA will rate anyone with pancreatic cancer 100% disability, well at least someone who served in both persion gulf wars. The VA even rented me a private jet to fly 200 miles to a different hospital because at one point I was going to be dead soon) Just an FYI if you are like me and think it's nothing and then it goes away for months and you think you were right.

  6. Dude wouldn't last a month in EB's offense. I'm thinking that the new guys can come up with something slightly better lol.
  7. The worst part of that article to me was at the end it was mentioned that the NFL is trying to sell out to ESPN. WTF? I might have to stop watching. Silva was good on GMFB, now ESPN is going to replace him with Shefter and Orlovsky or some YouTuber they can get for cheap like when they replaced the KJM morning show with 3 people who don't even talk about sports half the time.
  8. Adam Schefter on ESPN via his podcast “I think the signs continue to point to Jayden Daniels going number 2 to Washington… Yep, I get it now.
  9. I'd have to agree that he has actually chosen to be played. Mainly because Head Coaches don't choose QBs in the draft unless the team is ran by a buffoon. It's kind of like asking your kids which restaurant is the best. They'd probably say PF Chang or McDonald's or something. Because they don't know what they are talking about. RR is gone man!
  10. Everything any of them say is meaningless because the team isn't giving them any information.
  11. Well if they are drafting JD they better find a Kirk Cousins because somebody is going to break that dude in half.
  12. And even with the improvement, he was 50% passing when pressured and the other 50% either got sacked (25%) or ran the other 25% I'd guess. So he's going to get hit 50% of the time when he's pressured and not get injured early and often? With his size?
  13. So far these UFL teams are going for 2 after every TD
  14. First game is on now. Pretty good so far. Birmingham just tied the game in the final 3 seconds of the half.
  15. But if he figures out how to sharpen it he might be able to use it as a weapon. He could be the first Mortal Kombat NFL player.
  16. JD takes sacks at over 20% rate in college, runs instead of looking for a receiver in college, only throws the ball when the WR is wide open in college as well. He's not even average at any of those things yet you want to talk about Justin Fields running in college when he actually has a 1000 yard season in the NFL
