  1. I can allow that. That was when Georgia was right smack in the middle of that lossless period.
  2. Exactly what I was thinking/assuming/imagining. GMAP has, in one UFA, Draft and UDFA class already gotten more with this current staff than Paddleboat Ron got in all his time. Turned everything I thought right on my head, that the scouts were all a reflection of their management. Turned out they were a product of it rather than a reflection of it. "...but Brawndo's got electrolytes... " Turned out they just needed water all along.
  3. Has GMAP even done an overhaul of the scouting staff yet... ? Makes me wonder where the real problem was before he got here.
  4. Yankoff... now there's a guy who needs to make the team just for that jersey!!!
  5. "RUN LMC" doesn't have the same ring to it... 🤣
  6. Even Space Force comes before the USCG... oof...
  7. I hear Shar Pourdanesh is in game shape...
  8. That has been my worry all this time and I've said as much. I'll root for him to succeed and stay healthy with all I can. The guy has gifts you can't teach or even foster. He needs to learn he won't be invincible at this level, physically and that this NFL isn't the SEC. If the staff is comfortable with being able to coach him through that, that's all that matters at this point. His size is irrelevant. He is what he is and you cannot change genetics or your frame. All you can do is maximize what he can do and minimize his weaknesses the best possible.
  9. You just paid a QB $100m... and draft a QB 8th overall who won't see the field for two years. Smooth move, Ex-Lax.
  10. I now officially Maye is an absolute flame out and failure... 🤣
  11. The adult male can put on... in ten years or so of hypertrophic workout... 20-40lbs of muscle without PED's. Total. As in that's it. Daniels' frame can only handle so much and that is what concerns me, not his weight on the scale.
  12. They OL wasn't special outside Trent, but they were very well suited for that zone running Offense. Unfortunately, that was pretty much all they could do.
  13. Biases against QB's who run a lot... ? The last one we had didn't work out so well, so more than a few people are punch drunk still. I'd take Caleb or Drake as a passer over JD, still.
  14. That's the thing... Peters hasn't led any direction at all! All he's done is allow the media talking heads to carry on as they wish. He has literally said nothing other than he feels comfortable staying at #2.
  15. That's kind of why I'm torn LOL! I'm extraordinarily concerned with how Daniels will hold up at the NFL level. It isn't about his size or musculature, it's his frame combined with his recklessness. He has a bit of seasoning that Maye doesn't have yet, so you're not working on the fundamentals as much. How high is his ceiling, though, when you factor that? I don't know. As much as I love watching a QB whose athleticism is a weapon, NFL Defenses have figured that out. It's about his frame and his ultimate ceiling. Maye... time will need to be taken honing his gifts as a passer, by which I mean cleaning up some of his fundamentals. I don't think he's a total crackhead a la younger Josh Allen, but he needs work. Is he still young enough for that to take? Dunno. There are questions about both, but I'm worried more about Daniels' physique more than I am the ability to "coach up" Maye. FOMO is strong with both.
