  1. It's not just about bulking up, though, it's the frame. If you (not YOU you, but you get what I mean) could come to me and say "Don't sweat, it, he'll be alright," then cool. Otherwise, his recklessness will get him hurt in the NFL... badly. Some DE or LB trying to make a team will take a pre-season shot or someone with a chip on his shoulder will say "This is my chance" and it won't be pretty at the NFL level.
  2. Keim wants JD and has been trying to manifest it into existence based on he-said, she-said... and no one inside the team. Now he's hedging his bets. I know he has his defenders, but it feels like he's living off the graces of FO's of the past. My estimation of him and his petty saltiness on social media had plummeted this offseason.
  3. I don't believe Keim is any better informed or knowledgeable in this case than anyone else, especially with this new FO. I believe he thinks he is and is getting salty and Petty Labelle at people openly questioning him, but I don't believe he really knows a blessed thing.
  4. Why do I have a really weird feeling that Keim has been coming from behind this entire process, thinking he's ahead of where he is with concern to the new FO?
  5. ESPN has an SEC bias. They'll always push an SEC player, right or wrong. I'm not saying they're wrong, just saying...
  6. Same, same. I used to travel for work... a lot... two consecutive weeks out of every month for an entire year. All CONUS, but a lot. I know what fits in carry-on and what doesn't, don't trust the airlines and knew exactly what I needed for a trip versus what was fluff.
  7. I always think of the People's in Yorktown Shopping Center (now a CVS... intersection of 50 & Gallows in Falls Church) when I was a kid. My dad has a barber shop there. I got fat from burgers at the diner in the drug store LOL!
  8. It's not just the weight, it's the construction of their physiques. Cunningham didn't have a ton of muscle, but was built differently. I don't believe Daniels will actually play at 210. I don't think anyone does. Even so, he's basically a bigger RG3, who didn't even make it one season in one piece.
  9. He didn't have to worry about the athleticism that a mobile QB does. He also started to rack up injuries after he tried to put on more muscle than his frame could handle. He didn't train like a golfer, he tried to train like a bodybuilder. Things domino quickly when you have imbalances in your physique. The adult male can maybe put on 35-40lbs of muscle naturally in a lifetime of progressive resistance training. 20-25lbs in a couple years is not happening without PED's or gaining a lot of fat to go along with it. Gaining fat will hurt your game. PED's on a physique that is already fusilli held together with dental floss is a one-way ticket to an orthopedic surgeon from weakening tendons and ligaments. These guys both have shortcomings. Maye is relatively raw and has a windup that makes Jason Campbell blush (I'd say he's better thinking on his feet than Campbell, though). Daniels is constructed like one of those kites you buy at People's Drug Store as a kid and no amount of gym time can change that.
  10. It was more Dak giving up some pretty bad pickles to start the first half and the Packers' D holding Dallas than Love.
  11. I'm willing to wipe the slate clean from the Del Rivera days. The roster is still a rough construct, but Peters is working what he can. It had no leadership prior, either on the field or the staff.
