  1. If you all recall, one of the things that made Randall Cunningham so great was his flexibility, athleticism and escapability because of his frame, quickness. Remember the famous shot he took from Carl Banks and he stayed on his feet to throw a TD on MNF? I see Randall as a good comp for Daniels. Also, if you look at Ben Roethlisberger's injury chart he's had as many as any QB in league history, possibly because of his big frame and willingness to take hits.
  2. Think of Tiger Woods....it just takes dedication to the weight room and a commitment to following a training program. It can be done.
  3. Yep....and she eventually dumped him.
  4. The Ravens will want no part of us after we stomped their streak last preseason behind an excellent game plan orchestrated by Coach Ron and his staff. I see this the other way around....GB will throw the ball all over the yard on the Eagles.
  5. I agree, but I also think the coaching staff is much more cohesive and will set up whoever we take at #2 for much more success than Sam was positioned for. I have great confidence that Quinn will set this team up to win, not as sold on Cliff Kingsbury but if Quinn believes in him then I'm good with it. Judging by the additions we've made so far I'm confident that not everything is gonna be put on the rookies shoulders and that we'll be able to compete with an upgraded defense and running game.
  6. I don't know about this....the 3rd round seems high for a guy with potential character issues, we have too many holes to fill and DT isn't really one of the higher priorities this year. Let someone else roll the dice on a self-admitted partier who just got a DWI...and is about to get a nice chunk of change so he can party even more. We need a reliable player with a 3rd round pick, maybe a safety, WR or TE?
  7. Agreed. Good leader, heady player, great competitor but far from an elite QB. He could get the ball where it needed to go but was also very interception prone.
  8. For one, if we can convince NE that we're taking Daniels and they really want Daniels then maybe they offer us a nice deal to move up just one spot to take Daniels.....while in reality we really want Maye or McCarthy. Try and leverage as much out of the 2 spot as we can.....I could really see us doing this if we want McCarthy and we know that NE wants Daniels or Maye.
  9. They certainly do have another option if they really prefer one of Daniels, Maye or McCarthy over the others, offer Washington an attractive deal to swap places. If Washington is OK with any of the three then maybe they take the offer but I guess this report is saying that NE will be happy with whichever QB falls to them at 3 just the same as we have to live with at 2 because the Bears won't trade out. To your point of us being uninterested in trading #2, if that's been made known to all teams, then I would say they really don't have any options other than seeing who falls to them. Have you heard that Washington is not interested in dealing #2? I remember hearing how they were taking calls but weren't enamored with any of the offers? If NE offered #3, a 2nd and next years 1st to move up 1 spot because they have to have Daniels, I would think Peters would have to seriously consider that offer.....especially if he wants McCarthy.
  10. i don't want him to be either of these two....I want him to be more a combo of Cunningham/Mahomes than Lamar/Hurts. Neither Hurts or Lamar can pass like Daniels.
  11. All things considered, if Maye, Daniels and McCarthy all have that "dog mentality" and leadership skill on top of everything else, I think Daniels is the pick. He's just too explosive with his legs and can make all of the throws. He's Randall Cunningham but faster. Randall was incredible to watch and had little to no coaching, Daniels will be coached up by a great staff. Both Randall and Daniels are (were) 6'4 with Randall weighing 216 lbs. Sign me up for Daniels, he's my pick.
  12. I could see Davis being dealt at the draft if he has any value across the league, especially since it doesn't look like we're gonna pick up his 5th year option, just like we did with Chase Young.
  13. don't need Sapp, we have #91.....Kerrigan. gonna depend on our QB play imo.....the rest of the division is gonna be beatable as all have suffered HUGE losses in personnel. If our defense can carry us, with an improved offensive line and running game, yes, we could make the playoffs. The NFL is designed for all teams to have a chance so we should have a chance too.
  14. Randall Cunningham lost in the NFC Championship game on the infamous missed Gary Anderson FG at home in Minnesota which robbed us of what would've been a great SB between Elway and Randall. Randy Moss's rookie season, Minnesota broke the 83 Skins single season scoring record that year if I'm not mistaken. They choked at home or Randall might have a ring. Elway never won a ring until he got Terrell Davis and that awesome running game.....before that he was pretty much a one man show. Tremendous athlete, incredible arm strength and good runner.
  15. This is a tremendous picture....you may need to make this your avatar for awhile.....look at the cluelessness in that expression. If nothing else you can use this picture in the future as a response to people.....LOL.

  17. I agree, I just hope guys like Ekeler and Ertz can stay healthy....both have had their share of injuries. I wonder if Ertz is an every down player of if they plan on mixing in the others on early downs while sprinkling Ertz in in different packages?
  18. Fave Haskins moment is when the coach yelled "victory formation" and Big Dwayne thought that meant jumping into the stands to celebrate with the fans.
