  1. Tony Pauline has just updated his big board: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-draft-prospects-2021-updated-big-board-player-rankings/ He's got some real curveballs, but I like him and listen to his podcast and read his stuff. He's got Rondale Moore NINTH overall!
  2. Kiper just released his updated big board and top 10: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/insider/story/_/id/30528486/2021-nfl-draft-rankings-top-25-prospects-best-position-mel-kiper-new-big-board He's got Rondale Moore as his 9th receiver! Elijah Moore has a big time jump to his 4th rated receiver. Kiper has Ford as his 7th rated safety. I know you love Chubba Hubbard, but he's got him as his 9th RB. His top 5 RBs are: 1). Harris 2). Etienne 3). Javonte Williams 4). Jamar Jefferson 5). Gainwell His WR ranking are: 1). Smith 2). Chase 3). Waddle 4). Moore 5). Marshall 6). Bateman 7). Olave 8). Toney 9). Rondale Moore 10). Collins
  3. Haskins misses a WIDE OPEN Steven Sims for an easy TD on 3rd and goal (where he stared down Terry the whole play). Alex was clearly hurt. Alex still makes that td to Steven Sims. Check out 6:35
  4. Dalton hasn't been horrible honestly. He's got a trash o-line with all the injuries, and has suffered from dropsies from their WRs. He's still got a good arm.
  5. Riddick is good on TV, but he's had some big misses. Thought Jalen Ramsey was a huge reach. LOVED Cam Erving. LOVED Haskins.
  6. From Keim: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/insider/story/_/id/30520020/2021-nfl-draft-nuggets-needs-picks-need-know-all-32-teams-patriots-take-quarterback#WSH "Washington needs to find offensive help in this draft. It probably will get add some pieces in free agency -- it already has a young group, so it doesn't want to add just youth -- but needs to solidify left tackle, find another good tight end and get more consistency from receivers not named Terry McLaurin. And yes, Washington needs to address quarterback again. Dwayne Haskins Jr. has shown that it's going to take him a while to mature, and the jury is out as to how good he'll be once he does. With eight picks, it will have some ability to package and perhaps be aggressive moving up or adding more picks in the top three rounds. -- John Keim" I could see LT being the pick with Darrisow if he's there. I hope Rondale Moore slips to that 2nd round, though I doubt it. He's too explosive.
  7. My guess is Indy. They have boatloads of cap room. Plus, Detroit trades him out of the conference
  8. Darnold is a million times better than Haskins, but I'm not trading anything of significance for him. For one, he's close to FA. For two, he's regressed really badly. Thirdly, he seems injury prone.
  9. JT Daniels isn't exactly chopped liver. Maybe its like a Matt Cassell who couldn't beat out Leinart?
  10. McShay just posted an updated top 32: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/insider/story/_/id/30519242/nfl-draft-2021-rankings-todd-mcshay-updated-top-32-prospects-class-risers-fallers Interesting that he doesn't have Rondale Moore in his top 32, but he has Bateman at #7? I saw Bateman against UMD, and he didn't stand out to be a top ten pick.
  11. Yeah, maybe a good strategy is to do what Stevemcqueen has been advocating...Go all out on skill position players in the draft. Rondale Moore (1st), Pat Friermouth (2nd), one of the UNC Rbs/Chubba Hubbard with the SF 3rd, and best LB/CB available with the other 3rd.
  12. Yeah, we won't have as much cap room as we expect considering Scherff is a must resign, and Rouiller could be heading there (depends on what the staff think about Ismael). Dallas isn't going to let Dak leave. If Alex retires, what about Dalton? He's in his early 30s and won't cost anything near what the market rate is (15 million plus). Say we draft Rondale Moore (1st), Pat Friermouth (2nd), best RB available at the SF pick, and best CB available with our 3rd round pick. I think Dalton could be serviceable here.
  13. If Alex retires, would you trade our 1st straight up for Stafford (where Detroit decides to rebuild)?
  14. The WR from LSU also opted out after LSU started losing. I'm not sure how teams will feel about it. This year is weird for everyone. If we aren't taking QB and are in the 19-23 range, Darrisow and Rondale Moore are my two top targets. Given the general need of o-line, Darrisow might be gone. I think Moore will be there however. He's not going above Chase for sure. Pitts, Smith, and Waddle likely go above him as well.
  15. 49ers fans think McGlinchey has been terrible. Well see for ourselves this week. Yeah, I think I like Moore better too. He’s giving me that Joey Galloway vibe (obviously he’s shorter than Joey was, but both are super strong for their size).
  16. Like I said above, I think one of those RBs (Etienne or Harris) is slotted to the Jets at either the Seahawks pick or #33.
  17. Stevemcqueen, who do you like (pardon the pun) more: Rondale Moore or Waddle? They both look so good to me. I'm thinking that LT might be the pick if we win the division. We really could use some physicality in the run game at LT (Lucas is ok, and Christian just doesn't do enough at LT). Darrisow vs. Cosmi? Who do you have? Also, I know you love Ettienne/Harris, but I think one of those dudes is locked in to the Jets (either via their other 1st round pick via Seattle) or their 2nd round pick (#33). They have no RBs close to their talent Level. I don't think either makes it to our 2nd round pick if we win the division. Recently, RBs typically go in the 20-40 range (aside from Zeke, Gurley, Barkley).
  18. Random post from the Bengals Message board about wanting to hire Jay as their new head coach. http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Bring-Back-Jay-Gruden-for-Head-Coach Apparently, Taylor has been a disaster. The vast majority want him fired. Gruden can certainly coach an offense. He'd get Burrow to play great and scheme wide open WRs.
  19. Its got to be in the draft, right?? Is Alex coming back next year? Do we like Darnold? He's worth at most a 4th IMO, considering the young QBs coming out and the lack of leverage for the Jets. Is Darnold that much of an upgrade over Kyle Allen?
  20. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2021/insider/story/_/id/30469082/nfl-mock-draft-2021-kiper-mcshay-predict-top-10-picks-debating-trevor-lawrence-justin-fields-more Kiper & Mckshay debut a top 10 mock: 1). Jets-Lawrence 2). Jags-Fields 3). Cinci-Sewell 4). Chargers-Chase 5). Dallas-Parsons 6). ATL-Surtain 7). Philly-Davonte Smith 8). Carolina-Pitts 9). Lions-Wilson 10). Denver-Owusu Kind of surprised ATL would pass on Wilson here. If Wilson slips to 9, I'd trade a future 1st to get him via a trade up.
  21. Nah, they've played better recently, and will probably keep him. They aren't going to be an attractive job (compared to Chargers (Herbert) and Jets (have two extra 1sts coming from the Adams trade and likely Lawrence)). By default, they are the 2nd best team in the division next year.
  22. There are going to be MANY openings in the league in the off-season: Already Looking: 1). Detroit 2). Atlanta 3). Texans 100% goner: 4. Jets (Gase) Most-Likely to be goner: 5). Jags (Marone) 6). Chargers (Lynn) 7). Bears (Nagy) 50/50 goners: 8). Eagles (Pederson) 9). Bucs (Arians) 10). Bengals (Taylor)
