JOHN CARLSOND, WASHINGTON CAPITALS John Carlson picked up an assist Sunday and has taken over the NHL scoring lead with 18 points. Carlson is off to a fabulous start for the Capitals as he has three goals and 15 assists in 10 games. He leads Connor McDavid by one and has at least one point in nine of the 10 games.
