I’ve been shouting this from the roof tops. He adjusted his game too after his first season at LSU and actually listened to the coaches on what he could work and improve upon. I expect that to continue at the next level.

Man that was fun, as was the Vikings game, the cowboys game on Thanksgiving…what could have been.

Yeah I think all the JD supporters are great with Maye. It’s the other side that seems to have a few detractors of Daniels.

That “ RB” threw for more yards than Caleb, Maye, and JJ last season.

Daniels didn’t lose to UVA he was also busy lighting up Alabama, Florida, Missouri, Ole Miss, etc. He was shut down for one half essentially in the opener against FSU.

Maye was also playing against a terrible ACC.

I can only pray the Giants draft JJ. He is Daniel Jones 2.0. Would just be too good. any Giants QB looks like a world beater against us though, let’s be real

It’s hilarious how so many former players, analysts, and media folks that are paid to cover and do research are so high on Daniels yet you come to this thread and it’s a bunch of no the paid folks and former players are wrong, it’s a conspiracy theory against the Commies (they want Maye in a better market), etc. Can’t wait for Thursday Daniels (if drafted by us) will restore pride and joy for DC football. so will Maye

it’s all a huge conspiracy to push Daniels to Washington by analysts and the media! Come on now. Maye isn’t getting past pick 3 and the Pats aren’t trading down.

JJ will not be a starter this season. He is going to need a ton of work. I cannot believe this guy is being talked about as a top 5 pick right now. Another case of GMs overthinking it.

I think Caleb, Jayden, and Maye are all Day 1 starters.

Most polished? The most polished QB in this draft won't be sitting on the bench to start the season, which is what JJ will be doing. He is going to be a project.

You sort of have to show you’re not just a game manager to go top 3 in the draft. If this team drafts JJ , just sets back the team another 5 plus years. Would be disastrous.

A title with a top 50 defense, not top 10,20, 30 or even 40 or whatever Michigan was rocking. A top 50. LSU has always had a good if not great defense. It was historically bad, so yeah just give them a below average defense and they wax everyone.

Lose to A&M, Florida, Arkansas, and Missouri with Nuss. Nuss is going to be a good one but Daniels put the team on his back in those games. They don’t make a bowl game with Nuss, that’s how bad the defense was.

The ASU program was as dysfunctional as it gets. They had 16 plus players transfer out after 2021. Burrow and Daniels had very similar trajectories at LSU. An above average first season and after learning to command the system and offense, took off with some supremely talented receivers. A QB has to get the playmakers the ball and Daniels was great at doing that. Our running game was so so and the oline was stout, but Daniels delivered big time. He will be a star at the next level. LSU would’ve been a 4-5 win team without Daniels. LSU offense was constantly in go now mode because our defense was historically bad. People forget that. The pressure was ALWAYS on Daniels to deliver any time we played a team with a pulse on offense. Pair Daniels and that offense with just a top 50 defense this season and they’re National Champions at the end of the year.

Drake Maye could end up like Trubisky and Howell too and Peters' career is over. Such is life.

Did you spell Maye wrong? He is the one that might tumble down to Vegas at this rate. All signs are pointing to JD going second.
