  1. I'm not basing this statement off tonight only.
  2. Though he won't get quite the same scoring opportunities, I think Draymond is about a season away from where Jimmy Butler is at now.
  3. Watching the Denver feed of this game and their TV guy just said while going over the stats of Wall, Teague, and Lowry and was able to say without laughing that to paraphrase "I don't really care for any of them" I'm not gonna insult Ty Lawson or anything but damn this dude is dumb.
  4. Seeing how he's playing under Budenholzer and the Spurs east makes me think he could go for 60% under Pop and the real thing.
  5. Came across this on my timeline this evening https://twitter.com/nbastats/status/540191284049494016 NBA.com/Stats ‏@nbastats 8h High volume & efficiency. Korver's taking 5.2 threes/game for @ATLHawks AND leads NBA in 3PT% at a sizzling 57.8%! I'm pretty amazed he's never been scooped up by a real title contender. I never thought he'd be in the midst of an 11-Year career either.
  6. They'd have to play with him for what, pne year? Then they get to be the man on a premier franchise? I don't think that would be that bad of a deal.
  7. Wiggins and Parker are the rookies of the month, which speaks to how little the rookie class has contributed so far. It's been so rough Bogdanovic has been the closest competition. Watched some of the end of the Hawks game and man, He's not quite to the top 5 or 6 guards at this point but Jeff Teague has been so fun to watch this year. Also, Philly pulling away from the T-Wolves. Was really hoping to see the 0 for 18.
  8. The game that first put Lin on the NBA radar screen was actually him getting the best of Wall in Summer League their rookie years.
  9. Seeing this guy celebrate the sandwich was the highlight of the night IMO.
  10. I haven't set a virtual foot in a stadium thread in weeks, unfollowed anyone who tweets about the Redskins and pro football in general, and didn't a watch a single snap of the game today. The soap opera that is pro football just isn't doing it for me anymore. It's six days of mind-numbing coverage and grown men parsing every single word of pointless press conferences all for 11 minutes of action in 60 minutes of game-time spread out over 2.5 hours. People complain about they're being too many games in the NBA but at this point I appreciate the constant barrage of games nightly, it seems to help prevent the kind of journalistic stupidity and "hot taeks" from fans that currently plague the NFL.
  11. Great win against a team that plays hard every night. It was a pleasure to see Giannis as well, that kid is so damn fun to watch.
  12. The Truth, man. The truth. Vet savvy over athletic potential. I love this team.
  13. Cavs defense is bad, but 34 points by Sweet Lou bad?
  14. Team that crushed last night vs a team that got crushed. I expected a rough first but hopefully our guys will weather the storm and settle down.
  15. Bruno Caboclo is the #1 trending topic on Twitter according to my feed. That's how dominant the Raptors are.
  16. As much as I disliked the man, I was with Bubble on his assessment of DeMarcus Cousins, and I almost wish he was here to be able to collect on being right about one singular thing.
  17. I love this team, so so much. I was getting high fives from Bulls fans all night who are so impressed with what we have here in DC. Everything about that win was entertaining. Hell, I'm starting to love Raaaaaaandy. On the flipside, good luck to the Cavs sorting that mess out. Everyone who texted me live from the Phone Booth said the ball movement was as terrible as it looked on the TV Screen.
  18. More than 3 months is a long leash? He doesn't have anyone backing him in management? Not even the owner who is very active in Israel that hired the best Israeli coach in the game? Yeah, Coach Lue will fix everything for that team just as soon as LeBron and his crew get him installed as the lead guy like they've ALWAYS wanted.
  19. Everyone talking about the Lakers needing a good PG, I've always thought a skilled PG would be wasted on a team that always ends up running through Kobe. They've never won with one on the roster in his time there and they aren't going to start now.
  20. Very few people seem to realize he's been a 2 or combo guard since high school. Even at Harvard he was a 2-Guard. He's done an admirable job carving out a spot for himself in this league while playing out of position but you're right. He doesn't have the ball-handling ability to be a starting PG, and going to teams with 2-guards that are primarily responsible for the slashing and scoring on their teams hasn't helped him either.
  21. I can't say I'm really surprised by the Bucks. They're a perpetual 8th seed that finally bottomed out for a year. I've assumed they'd get back to that level pretty quickly, though maybe not quite this quickly.
  22. How does someone say that, especially when it's the NBA HoF where everyone gets in.
