I'd like Bullets more than anything. But if that isn't an option. I'd be ok with the Senators or......Capitals. Take the current Caps logo but change the hockey stick in it to be something like the bullets-hands logo. Washington Hockey Capitals. Washington Hoops Capitals. This used to happen in a city all the time. Is there a rule against it?

With the young High School talent between Bmore and Richmond, a good hoops NBA team in D.C. could kill. Especially with a guy like Ted. You've got to #1. Win, duh. #2. Have a color scheme and logo people want to wear. #3. Put in the effort to reach the community. A good thing the Skins and Snyder do is hooking up football fields in the area. There are a ton of hoops courts that are in rough shape. Is it against any rules to fix up, build public courts with the Red/White/Blue team colors all over it?

Who knows what the NBA will look like post-lockout? I personally don't think they will make the playoffs next year. But you want Wall believing that deep down. Next season is the "rebrand" Hopefully after a year of owning the team, Ted knows the changes he wants to bring in. I'd like to see the team instill a huge sense of professionalism, especially for a young roster. I don't care if that means behind the scenes some guys are being babysat. I know it sounds stupid but look how established teams in sports handle themselves. That comes from the top down. They need a coach who has experience with younger guys and being strict. Workout, Practice and Play all at the same high level. If a guy slacks, to the bench. If a Blatche washes out....whatever. You know Wall will give 100%. Also, bring the Captain's "C" to this team, and bust out two "A"s also. Clearly define your leaders.

@stevemcqueen1 - Usually I would argue over this because I think Williams is going to be a strong pro. However, the past few weeks of your posts here have been awesome. So instead of fighting over there. I'm going to ask for your top 5 in this upcoming draft with mini breakdowns.

#1. You'd think there is a role backstage or on the mic for him if he wants it. #2. Hopefully they use this as a chance to have his belt vacated for awhile, create a path to the title thing bracket style. #3. There is a lack of main event talent already. This makes things worse. Maybe move Cena over to Smackdown. #4. This is a chance to maybe make the other belts more important. Tag, Intercont, US....hell. Bring back Cruiserweight for the high flyers.

Well, this Edge stuff is a bummer.

If they land a top 4 pick, they will get either Williams, Cantor or Jones. They don't need Irving who's listed at 6'2. which probably only makes him 6 feet. Wall is already around 6'2 or 6'3 being listed at 6'4. The three I named are all forwards in the 6'10-6'11 range with good upsides.

HHH was the top star when he was a Heel, and when he was with HBK in DX. He's been really good as a face and heel actually. I think the problem now is that there isn't enough definition on who are main eventers and who are middle card guys. That's why they need a clear path for titles that takes awhile to develop. Let guys battle it out to face the champ. Let other titles be defended as the main event.

Taker was really hurt before the WM match I think, right? He kind of battled through it, but they did that whole stretcher thing because he'll be gone for a long time now. Feels like there is too much going on, and not enough time for everything to work properly. Again, that's solved by creating better factions so these people can get TV time but without having to wrastle every week on TV. Also, where is Melina? Hurt again? Sin Cara looked cool though.

I think either you split the two "brands" further, or you bring them all together. You don't need to have the Heavyweight Champ fight every week. If you have more belts, then you have the champ move freely from show to show. Where they lose the title, that's where they stay. Everybody else stays put. I however would like to see a full Cruiser Weight Division where one week that's the main event on raw. Steel Cage with high fliers. Then let the main event another week be for the tag titles. Same with US Champ, Inter-Cont...etc. Their problem is that people just fight all over the place. One week you have Sheamus and Wade going for the heavyweight.....then all the sudden they are middle card guys. That's because they should have never been moved up so fast. when you announce going for a certain belt. You should be put on some path to win that belt over weeks or months.

Its been reported the WWE was looking at guys like Sting and Lesner to go against the Taker last night. I wouldn't be shocked if HHH stepped up and offered because he knows it would benefit his career long term with the guys he'll be managing backstage. As far as WCW, what's the difference? Why are Raw and Smackdown "Brands"? why does it matter? You'd think with four hours a week. they could have the Cruiser Weight, Euro and Hardcore belt out there also.

Why is it that Snooki was better in the ring than Cole? I think a better storyline would have been to have some sort of WCW reborn....and having them take over Smackdown by force. I think we all knew HHH was going to lose. I wouldn't be surprised if it was his idea because he takes such a strong role backstage now. He knew it was for the good of the company. Question is.....who do they find for next year which will probably be the last? Weak that neither the U.S. Title or Tag Titles were on the line at WM. I don't think Miz will be going to go face. Recently they were having him win a lot more cleanly than he did last night. I think McCool jobbed for Snooki because her real life Husband (Taker) probably explained that you do stuff like that to be a team player. The Coree = lame Hopefully tonight is a launch of a bunch of new storylines. For being 4 hours long, they could have put in 2 or 3 matches instead of all those promos.

Not sure what to make of the storylines. What is the deal with the Raw GM? That was stupid. No titles changed hands. Two weren't even up for grabs.

I know the Cavs are awful, but its these type of games that makes me want to see these young guys with a coach better suited to them. A developer of young talent. Congrats to Crawford. That was a nice job done.

I think Jordan Williams hurt his draft stock the final few months of the season. Hopefully he'll realize another year is needed for him. As far as the Wizards. Do they have 2 or 3 first rounders?

From what I've read on the interwebs, HHH has been taking a bigger backstage role running the shows, especially since Shane left the company. I recall reading that HHH ran the whole deal on a recent Euro-tour for the WWE and did a really great job. Ending the Undertakers streak would be dumb since its all he has now. I think HHH and Taker try to put on a hell of a show with HHH losing. Then the Undertaker tries to stay healthy for one final Wrestlemania where he goes out with a win. Meanwhile, HHH will be mostly backstage with maybe a role as a GM or running a stable of young guys. Something like that.

If Irving doesn't come out now, he would be an idiot. Take the money. You can always go back and finish your degree. But if you go back to school, there is a chance you will fall.

While its not the greatest draft in history. I think if you end up with a top 3 pick, you're going to get a decent enough player there.
