  1. I put the link to Smith but forgot to list him. 5 openings, wonder if any other teams will have an opening.
  2. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/29/falcons-fire-mike-smith/ Smith is gone. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/29/bears-fire-marc-trestman-too/ Trestman is gone. So, we now have openings in Oakland, San Francisco, NY Jets and Chicago.
  3. Correct. This was the start. Jim wanted to paid like a Superbowl winner. Also, Jim's personality just wears on you. People get tired of him pretty fast. All his previous coaching stints haven't been long ones.
  4. USA today is tracking Black Monday. http://q.usatoday.com/2014/12/28/black-monday-tracking-nfl-coaching-changes/
  5. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/49ers/2014/12/28/san-francisco-49ers-jim-harbaugh-part-ways/20973363/ Bye Bye Jim Harbaugh.
  6. Coach of the year? No. Bruce Arians is the coach of the year.
  7. Glad he was able to see a rought cut of the film before he died this year. Jolie showed it to him on her laptop.
  8. Marvin needs to go but Mike Brown is notorious for staying with coaches for a while. As long as Marvin keeps them competitive and have a shot at the playoffs; Mike will be happy. Mike is more about making money, than winning.
  9. A friend bought it, so I watched it. I'll give it a C+. It had it's moments and it was your typical Rogan/Franco movie. I think it was overrated and didn't live up to the hype. Parts of it was just down right boring. I'd like to see just what kind of money Sony did make online? Will this just fade away into history or become a cult classic?
  10. First new post for 2014. Only 3 days until Black Monday 2014: 12/29/14. Right now, only the Raiders have an opening. 49ers, Bears & Jets are the 3 other teams that will definitely have an opening. Possible changes 1. Titans - were truely awful this year. Whisenhutt could be one and done. 2. Falcons - if they win on Sunday & make playoffs; Mike Smith saves his job. If they lose, he probably gets fired. 3. Panthers - if they win on Sunday & make playoffs; Ron Rivera is back. If they lose, do the Panthers keep him, despite extended his contract after last year? 4. Saints - Could there be a surprise opening here? Payton maybe reaching the limits of what he can do here and might be time to go elsewhere? 5. Cowboys - It is possible Cowboys could be playing in the Superbowl ; Jason Garrett is a free agent. Surely, Jerry Jones is going to resign him? 6. Redskins - Gruden has been told he will be back, or has he? Does he even want to be back? Despite the reports saying he's coming back; I'll take a wait and see attitude. If we give A.J. Smith the GM job; maybe he wants to bring in a new coach? Maybe that's a condition of him taking the job, if offered? 7. Giants - For the longest time it looked like Coughlin was a goner. Now, it's possible he gets a reprive and comes back??? Will see. 8. Dolphins - Ross says Philbin is coming back. Will see. Frankly, I think it's a mistake. They need a new coach to take them beyond what they have now. 9. Bills - They will have a .500 season at least. New owner though may want to bring in his own coach, stay tuned. So, right now it looks like there will be anywhere from 4 to 13 openings. Bring on Black Monday! If by chance the Redskins do have an opening; they will be at the bottom. Yes, even below the Raiders.
  11. Actually, WH13 kind of had a "The Librarians" feel to it since the first "Librarian" movie came out in 2004; long before WH13. I like that it has become a series and you will get an occasional appearance by the movies' Librarian Noah Wylie.
  12. Joking or for real? Hmm. The rest of the world may never see this movie.
  13. I saw The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" today and it gets an A. I loved it.
  14. I saw "Night of the Museum 3". B+ I liked it. I still think the first one is the best one but it was a good way to end the movie series.
  15. Yes, tonight- Dec. 17th- Episode 3. I still haven't seen the first 30 minutes; so will need to catch up on that.
  16. It's only a mini-series. The finale tonight should be interesting. They big head fake though was a little disappointing.
  17. I loved that show. I think when it aired, that was the last time Network TV attempted to program new scripted series on a Saturday night.
  18. I like that show but it isn't coming back. NBC halted production of new episodes; so when they finishing airing what's left, that will be it for the show.
  19. Allen needs to be completely excised from the Skins. Puppet needs to be the first one to go.
  20. That 3 night "Ascension" miniseries on SyFy starts tonight. Looks like SyFy is going to focus more on SCI-FI. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/12/14/ascension-syfy-tv-series/20176425/
  21. Recent movie seen: 1. Penguins of Madagascar - B+ 2. Nightcrawler - A +, second best movie of the year after "Gone Girl". Jake Gyllenhaal's character: Lois Bloom would be perfect for Gone Girl's Rosamund Pike's Amy Dunne. Two people, just perfect for each other. 3. Exodus: Gods and Kings - B-. Saw that today, it was okay.
  22. The big difference was the title. The original stayed true to the title of the movie, just say the sequel did not.
  23. I saw "Horrible Bosses 2" and it gets a C. It had some occasional moments but it just didn't have what the original movie did.
  24. This alleged rapist is performing tonight at the King Center here in Melbourne, FL. Too bad; they should've canceled this. This alleged rapist is performing tonight at the King Center here in Melbourne, FL. Too bad; they should've canceled this.
  25. I saw Hunger Games:Mockingjay Part 1. I'll give a B. It was a little slow in parts and I just felt like all it was doing was setting up the finale in Part 2 next year. Next up for me Horrible Bosses 2 and Penguins of Magasdar ; both coming out for Black Thursday. I will no longer call that day Thanksgiving.
