  1. Well, I loved it. I can't wait to see where they take the show; if there's a season 2.
  2. Really good. I may finish before sleeping tonight. Watched 7 episodes yesterday, 2 today so far.
  3. I've watched the first 2 episodes; maybe an all nighter? It took me 3 days to watch Daredevil.
  4. The Man in the High Castle and Jessica Jones is available today. Just watched the first 2 episodes of Jessica Jones, pretty good.
  5. Just came back from seeing Hunger Games: MockingJay Part 2. I can't give it more than a C+. Didn't read the books, but the ending was disappointing. The movie was 1 hour too long and it really moved at a snail's pace. I'm sure those who really got into the story will be satisfied but it was disappointing to me. They should've just made one movie and not 2.
  6. The 33 get a B+ from me. The story about those Chilean Miners from 2010 was pretty good.
  7. USA Today Hot Seat for Week #9. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/11/10/coaches-hot-seat-weekly-rankings/75503676/
  8. Saw "Spectre" and it gets a solid B from me. It was a good but not great Bond movie. It was a little too long and the big reveal; just felt a little unsatisfying to me. I also saw "Peanuts" today. Another solid B from me. I think the kids will love the movie. Their parents or grandparents may to.
  9. Only a Superbowl appearance can save his job and that's not even a guarantee. Pagano's contract is up; so he just won't be resigned. Irsay expects a Superbowl appearance. That's not happening. I expect him to clean house at the end of the year and even fire the GM. ======================================================================= You have a young QB. You are in a weak division. The right coach can turn that around. The Dolphins have a so-so QB. A clueless owner. In a division with the Pats. ================================================================================= Jay Gruden actually, maybe breathing even more easier than I thought. There's 2 openings so far. I mentioned 10 other potential openings, including the Skins. While I do expect a high number; don't think there will be 12 openings. Given all the openings or potential openings this year; the completion for coaches is going to be fierce. That alone could buy Jay another year; if he finishes with 6-8 wins.
  10. Not shocked he was fired, only surprised at the timing. Jim Caldwell, shouldn't be sleeping well; he's probably next.
  11. Mark Walberg is starring in the "6 Billion Dollar Man". The movie based on the 70's TV Series: "6 Million Dollar Man". https://www.facebook.com/topic/The-Six-Billion-Dollar-Man/109747255718755?source=whfrt&position=3&trqid=6212830323938859832 I remember watching that show as a kid. It will be interesting to see how they translate that to the big screen. Making movies out of classic TV shows; hasn't been to successful. Wouldn't mind cameos from the surviving cast members.
  12. If the new show is similar in style to the Abrams' movies; not sure it will be successful. I loved Star Trek; thought it was a great movie. The second one, was so-so. What CBS's is going to try with this new TV show; you are going to need the really die hard Trekkers to make it successful. There's a big portion of those Trekkers who despise the Abbrams movies. So, it will be interesting to see what they came up with.
  13. The Hot Seat 2015- Week 8 Fired - Joe Philbin Fired - Ken Whisenhut 1. Chuck Pagano at 3-5. Even if the Colts win the division, he's dead man walking. 2. Jim Caldwell at 1-7. He's on his way out. 3. Mike Pettine at 2-6. Browns are no better. Bye, Bye Mike. 4. Gus Bradley at 2-5. Still think he will be gone after season. 5. Bill O'Brien at 3-5. Hot seat cooling a little this week.. 6. Jim Tomsula at 2-6. Will York admit his mistake and clean house & get a real coach? 7. Love Smith at 3-4. Hot seat is cooling a little, maybe some life in there? 8. Jay Gruden at 3-4. Cooled off for now but next 3-4 weeks could be brutal and Jay could move up on the Hot Seat. 9. Mike Mccoy at 2-6. With a good chance the Chargers will be in L.A. soon; I could see the owners wanting a clean slate. 10. Tom Coughlin at 4-4. I don't think Tom will be fired but if he misses the playoffs; there will be a forced retirement. Added Jim Tomsula this week. 2016 is starting to look like a high turnover year.
  14. I saw "Our Brand is Crisis". Get's a solid B. Next up - Spectre and Peaunuts and in 2 weeks the final Hunger Games.
  15. Not usually. Thing is, CBS co owns the CW; so it wouldn't be a problem for a crossover.
  16. Starz's Ash vs Evil Dead starts Saturday. It has already been given a second season. http://comicbook.com/2015/10/28/ash-vs-evil-dead-renewed-for-second-season/
  17. The Hot Seat 2015- Week 7 Fired - Joe Philbin. 1. Chuck Pagano at 3-4. Even if the Colts win the division, he's dead man walking. 2. Jim Caldwell at 1-6. He's on his way out. 3. Mike Pettine at 2-5. Browns are no better. Bye, Bye Mike. 4. Bill O'Brien at 2-5. He has failed with the Texans. 5. Gus Bradley at 2-5. Still think he will be gone after season. 6. Ken Whisenhut at 1-5. The owners may want someone else to develop Mariota. 7. Love Smith at 2-4. The Bucs aren't good. The owners may want someone else to develop Winston. 8. Jay Gruden at 3-4. Unlike the last comeback win, Jay remains on the list. He drops down. He's still on the hot seat, but a much cooler hot seat this week. 9. Mike Mccoy at 2-5. With a good chance the Chargers will be in L.A. soon; I could see the owners wanting a clean slate. 10. Tom Coughlin at 4-3. I don't think Tom will be fired but if he misses the playoffs; there will be forced retirement. Sean Payton & Jeff Fisher drops out this week. Added Bill O'Brien and Mike Mccoy..You know, there's a strong chance; the entire AFC South will have new coaches in 2016. 2016 is starting to look like a high turnover year.
  18. I saw the pilot online over the summer. I liked it. Will see how it fairs. Also, Jessica Jones starts soon on NetFlix.
  19. Saw the "The Last WitchHunter". It gets a C. Okay, but the movie's pace was just too slow.
  20. Happy "Back to the Future" Day! It is Oct. 21, 2015! Free hoverboards for everyone, right?
  21. He could always return. Maybe he decides that USC job is a better option for him. I think there will be more changes this year, than we may have thought going into 2015.
  22. Here's USA Today's Hot Seat. I don't have Andy Reid on my list. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/10/20/hot-seat-coaches-gus-bradley/74255256/
  23. The Hot Seat 2015- Week 6 Fired - Joe Philbin. 1. Chuck Pagano at 3-3. He's dead man walking. Baring a superbowl appearance; his contract will not be renewed. After Thursday game. he's on his way out. 2. Jay Gruden at 2-4. He's back on the list. He loses on Sunday; possible chance he is the next coach fired. 3. Jim Caldwell at 1-5. The win isn't going to save his job. 4. Gus Bradley at 1-5. It's time for a change in Jacksonville. 5. Mike Pettine at 2-4. He could be done after 2 seasons also, never know with their owner. 6. Sean Payton at 2-4. It really hasn't been the same since bountygate. 7. Love Smith at 2-3. The Bucs aren't good. The owners may want someone else to develop Winston. 8. Ken Whisenhut at 1-4. The owners may want someelse to develop Mariota. 9. Jeff Fisher at 2-3. No playoffs and he's probably gone. 10. Tom Coughlin at 3-3. A non-playoff season seals Tom fate- retirement. Jay returns to the list and Chip Kelly drops out. Added Ken Whisenhut.
