  1. They can suck my ass. There's a ton of annoying **** out there that the GOP is doing these days, but this might be at the top of the list. Election deniers/not acceptors/conspiracy theorists are the biggest goddamn ****ing snowflakes of them all. Nothing is more ****ing stupid than "my guy didn't win so I'm going to be a ****ing crybaby about it." The stupidity is off the charts, and to think that some of these mother****ers are elected officials is just mindboggling to me. I know what I'm gonna do, I'm just gonna run around and deny/not accept events that are blatantly obvious in every day life and see how obnoxious I can be; the Texas Rangers didn't win the World Series last year, the Lakers never won a title with LeBron, Caitlin Clark is awful at basketball, Taylor Swift doesn't sell a lot of records, Covid-19 wasn't real and January 6th was a peaceful protest. Imagine being able to give 5 million to a wingnut 3rd party candidate just in order to try and **** with an election. I can think of a bunch of things I'd do if I won the lottery tomorrow and not a single one of them would include donating money to a politician. I'm sure these people do it to get favors later down the road but it strikes me as odd that someone who is a billionaire needs a politician to do them a favor.
  2. 8 minute standing ovation. That doesn't mean the film is any good or not. I mean, given the audience, anything depicting Donald Trump in an unfavorable light is going to be like catnip for them. That said, my interest is piqued. I wouldn't go out of my way to see this film but if it shows up on a streaming service somewhere and I've got time to kill, sure.
  3. Plenty of people like Trump. Fine, so the victim refuted it and died. No conviction or criminal trial. But it's also a movie (not a documentary) and knowing what we know about Trump it's not hard to believe that he did rape someone at some juncture in his life. Anyway, **** Dan Snyder, too.
  4. Sure. Stop hopping around from team to team and when the one you choose finally wins it all, it’ll probably be more fulfilling. You’re the Tailgate KD of sports fandom
  5. Wondering why Ren would downvote me for such a reasonable take and then I remembered he’s a Yankees fan. Hasn’t seen a World Series winner since he was in 3rd grade so I’m sure that’s tough to cope with.
  6. It’s always great when a New York team gets bounced from the playoffs in any sport.
  7. I like it when the Tailgate tries to solve America's problems. I have thoughts on the matter but I'd just be pissing in the ocean at this point and I don't have the wherewithal to start going back and forth with anyone. But, as I am apt to do, I just came in here to make a quick joke and leave. You'll note that this thread is to ix as garlic is to a vampire.
  8. Sounds like you know from personal experience.
