The mTT: Ainsley's Angels chapters in each state, represent athletic ride-along programs created for children, teens, adults and veterans who would not be able to experience endurance events such as triathlons or road races on their own. To sum it up, we are a volunteer-based service that provides jogger chairs, bike trailers and rafts for anyone who is disABLED (Known as Captains) and able-bodied runners (Known as Angels) to participate in endurance events as a TEAM!

The Program supports over 500 traditional Elders who live in the Northern portion of Arizona and Southern Utah. The activities of the Program focus on helping traditional Elders live on the Land in the traditional ways of The People, as they have for thousands of years. This Program is assisted by traditional Dine' people who serve as coordinators in various parts of the reservation to help us determine the needs of the Elders in their own culture and lifestyle.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - http://jdrf.org/

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital. We meet the immediate daily needs of the people we serve with food, clothing, and health care. We help break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness. Each day, SOME is restoring hope and dignity one person at a time.

Wish we could pick two...My dad's Alzheimers has been a little rough for years, but he still remembers me, and the Redskins 3 SB wins, but needs supervision. These things, even though they will get worse, only (really) affect my family.

Hunger impacts everyone. We may not think we know anyone who "goes without", but we do, and as I recently found out, it's sometimes the last person we think would need help.

Hail!

I had to vote Ainsley's Angels. A guy in my running club does this, pushing kids with various diseases through races, and I respect the hell out of him. It isn't Ainsley's Angels that he does it through, but something similar.

If you are ever in NC come join us for a race!
