REDSKINS FAN APPRECIATION DAY PRACTICE TIME CHANGED TO 10:35 A.M. ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 2

 

RICHMOND, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that their annual Fan Appreciation Day practice has changed from noon to 10:35 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2. See below for the team’s entire 2014 training camp schedule:

How crowded are the regular camp days?  I was thinking about taking one of my kids but would prefer to avoid the giant crowd from fan appreciation day.

How crowded are the regular camp days?  I was thinking about taking one of my kids but would prefer to avoid the giant crowd from fan appreciation day.

 

It's hard to predict, but it seemed to me to get increasingly crowded as camp went on last year. Best bets for smaller crowds is any weekday other than Friday. This was the Friday before Fan Appreciation day last year.

I read that weekday practices last year averaged 6-8k, fan appreciation day was 25+k

 

I would imagine the numbers will be about the same this year, maybe a little higher with those that were planning on FAD or the joint practices going on other days.
