I still have some reservations, not about Taylor the player, as much as some personnel/cap consequences, but that's another issue unrelated to Taylor as a FS in this league. Listening I was picturing something diff., but that was god-awful. Damn. Looking back at the Portis run where Urlacher abouts takes his head off, Urlacher better be fined for that. Lavar gets fined for the facemask incident, Urlacher better have his wallet get thinner. He could have done some damage to his neck. He could have pushed him out or tackled him out, but he thought he would be big and bad. Just plain reckless. Just all respect for Urlacher. Just a dirty play and player. I would have to follow up clips of Smoot going all out for the team, with that nauseating incompletion by Brunell to Coles, who was so wide open he could have caught the ball, balanced it on his head, and crawled into the end zone untouched.
