They also have the second-highest forced bad-decision rate, three near interceptions and have given up only 23 points. All three of their starting/nickel cornerbacks have also been covering quite well, and with the exception of Santana Moss, none of the Redskins wideouts should strike much fear into their secondary. This group has the potential for a 10-point or higher game.

Respect for birds is usually a good thing, but if you give these Cardinals a little space, they'll run you out of your own stadium. Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin will fly high and send the Redskins to defeat. Prediction: Cardinals by
EnFoRcEr_uPu
I can understand where they're coming from. After playing the HIGH-powered 49ers and Dolphins offenses, it's AWFULLY impressive.
elkabong82
I won't underestimate the Cards cuz they are a good squad, but I'm viewing this still as a game we should win. The Cards have played a low level of cpmetition thus far, and I'm surprised it wasn't apparently considered by KC in this write-up.

Jimbo
Niners were giving them a game but turnovers killed them. Gore rushed for 96 yards on 14 carries and O'Sullivan was 14 of 20 for 195 yards passing. Niners lost because they gave the ball away 5 times (4 fumbles and a INT) however they moved the ball well on offense. Their Defense held the receivers in check somewhat, only giving up one play of over 20 yards and that was a 40 yard pass from Warner to Steve Breaston. The Cards had a short field to work with on multiple occasions. If we play that kind of Defense and don't turn the ball over, I just don't see us losing this game. Miami has allowed 6. That's first and tied 6th respectively. Washington on the other hand has allowed 3 sacks and is tied 20th with 5 other teams. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats;jsessionid=D27EF2266F9FBF604ED5C309320F9E90?offensiveStatisticCategory=TEAM_PASSING&archive=false&seasonType=REG&defensiveStatisticCategory=null&d-447263-o=2&conference=null&d-447263-s=PASSING_SACKED&d-447263-n=1&season=2008&qualified=true&Submit=Go&tabSeq=2&role=TM&d-447263-p=
GC8 Bunta
you know what, if the Skins were 2-0 after beating teams like the phins and frisco people will still say we suck. somehow, after the cards beat 2 subpar teams everyone is crowning them this shiznit. McMetal
It's sad when the commentary on the messageboards is more intelligent and informative than the sludge trawled out by losers who are paid to do this for a living. No kidding. Remember when the Redskins opened 2005 by beating the Bears (won division that season), Cowboys (finished 9-7), and the Seahawks (played in the Super Bowl), yet someone called them the worst 3-0 team in the history of the NFL? I have no doubt that the Cardinals can well be a handful for any team, but it's hard to really get a read on them through their first 2 opponents. :2cents:
