iheartskins
Ladies & Gents, We’ve spoken about how much information is available on the internet in the past, but how easily it is to get a background check is somewhat scary. See, e.g., http://www.zabasearch.com/ (enter your name and see how much information comes up.) Frightening.
codeorama
That's kind of scary, mine came up 3 times, on w/ current address, one with old address and one at an address I've never lived at....
SnyderShrugged
Yeah!!! all 3 of the freebies were someone else. My company also does skiptracing. checkout www.crimetime.com if you really want to be scared!
The Evil Genius
I didn't know that there were that many codeoroma's. Seriously, this seems to be no different that what the googles and previous sites in the past have provided. Nothing new (sadly) in the era that we live in. I guess the information that came up for me might have been unique--but my addresses and phone numbers and birthdates from all of my current and prior residences came up. I don't think anyone could find my birthday or my current or prior addresses through google. I guess the birthday aspect was the more frightening thing--though I shouldn't be that bothered given that it's available on this website. I should add that I'm particularly sensitive to this because I've had to deal with some identity theft in the past.
Kilmer17
Why is this a big deal? Nothing there that you cant find in a phone book.
The Evil Genius
Use to be able to pull up anyones address if you had their phone number on Google. Not sure if thats still a feature. If you are worried about your b-day showing up, you would be really frightened to know that your credit card #'s are out there too- provided you have bought something online in the past 5 years. Well, I don't think you could find my credit history in the phone book. Granted, you could call someone who could give it to you I guess. I guess it's just that information is so easily accesible. I did a search for Zaba and didn't come up with anything. T.E.G: Can you speak to how easily it is to get CC information from online websites? Kilmer17
If I know your name and address, I can get your credit history in a nanosecond.

It was buried at the end of this thread (which really had nothing to do with zaba) Here I only remember it because they had info on me when I lived on Garden St...which was about 19-20 years ago. I was impressed.
iheartskins
Originally posted by Kilmer17 If I know your name and address, I can get your credit history in a nanosecond. I take it I don't have to consent to the inquiry either?
