SkinsNatsFan
It sure seems like tight ends in this league today have much better hands than the wide receivers.

bulldog
the Eagles problems don't come in the first game they play in the postseason but once the pressure is on them at home to advance to the Super Bowl. that is THEIR demon to slay

Ghost of
I guess he was "going for the ball" too and not clothesline/facemasking someone?
Ghost of
I'm happy for the local team. Though I don't quite hate St Louis as much as I did in previous years. Anyone to beat the Iggles(and I really don't want the pack there, though I'd prefer them to the Eagles, I guess.)
cfujskins
M. Hasselbeck pass intended for Morris INTERCEPTED. Tipped. It was negated by a face mask, but you can still see that the WR would have dropped the ball regardless. Afterwards, Hasselbeck throws a sweet 19yd TD pass to Ingram. bulldog
so this is the Marcus Trufant that is a first team pro bowler, eh? he definitely looks better than Smoot
iheartskins
Talk about a porous secondary. Prevent defense never makes sense to me. That was a great throw, but still.
cfujskins
How does a D holding offset a Chop Block penalty? Man, thats weird. Anyways, Stephen Jackson droppes and EASY one, followed by a perfect Bulger pass dropped into soft zone spots in the middle to Bruce for 22yds
Ghost of
Seattle's secondary is pretty hideous. Trufant is OK, Lucas is OK--NOT a Smoot replacement.

cfujskins
Originally posted by Ghost of Nibbs McPimpin People talk about Owens and Harrison, et al. Holt is as good as any of them. I found out something new today. Holt averages more YPG (a little over 85ypg) than any WR in NFL histoy, past or present. AMAZING. So, as far as Holt being as good as any of them, Id say

My guess is, the very best receivers from eras past simply did not average that many yards per game. Not even the Alworths and Monks. Rice was so crazy with his numbers that he can survive not getting many yards recently, and still be in the top WHY THE F did they call such a piddling call? He barely touched Bruce in the helmet. cfujskins
I say Seattle scores before the half. 1:08 till halftime. Berman, Young, Michael Strahan and Brian Billick were the pre-game anylyst, in case anybody missed it.
PCS
Guess not. Oh well. 14-10 with one second left and Rams have the ball. Uh oh.
cfujskins
I was wrong, Seattle fails to score. 14-10, Rams up. Halftime. Madden and Michaels to do the 2nd game.
