illone
Arizona over the Pats. Ok, before you go saying I'm crazy allow me to explain. Think geography here guys. It's still summer here in Arizona, today it's 104 come Sunday the forecast calls for 102+. The cards are used to playing here, obviously they practice in it everyday. I've lived here for over two years and this heat still does a number on me. I think homefield advantage plays a huge factor in this game. At the very least take the points here, 8.5 - 9 points is a gift from God. I'm going to be laying a small moneyline bet on the home dog here as well, but taking the points is a great bet. GL to all:cheers:
afparent
True, the heat is always a factor. I use to hate it when the Skins would play them at the beginning of the year. I actually went to a game once there. It was hot and the Skins lost. I believe it was 92. Rypien threw a couple of picks at the end of the game. Henry
That's not all that crazy. I've learned over the years to be wary of home teams that are a 7 point dog (or worse.)
Renegade7
Illone, i know we're cool and all. So I want to be the first to tell you, while not trying to hurt your feeling or anything. I think the heat is getting to you, man. Jax over Den.
illone
Well, parity plays in here as well. Vegas looks for little tricks to make a huge payday on games. See KC vs. Cinncy last year.

Boldin is on the bench, injured, remember?

bubba9497
Call me crazy... but Redskins over the Giants! well the way the Eagle & Giants fans have been talking, the Giants are the next coming of '72 dolphins or '85 bears

We will win AND cover the spread.
SkinsLegacy44
This is a gutsy call. I think the Pats will pull it off, but they will not cover. Skins are the lock of the week
Oldskool
Carolina over Kansas City. Davis runs for 200 yards and their defense takes out the frustration of being whipped like a rented mule by the Packers out of the Chiefs.
illone
eeek, oldskool. You realize KC was undefeated at home during the regular season last year? Carolina has lost 8 starters, and sure didn't look like Carolina of last year. I would have a hard time betting against KC at home, especially after they lost the big game on Sunday night. Their D does suck pretty bad, but Carolina's didn't look much better the other night. Tough call, but if someone put a gun to my head I'd have to pick KC in that one. Ill go out on a limb and say that Car could win this one with ball control and keeping KC's offense off the field.
Rockville Redskin
Hey Favre couldn't take the heat last year. I can see alot of cramping up in this heat. The Cardinals are up and coming even with the injuries....when I'm on crack
SilentSkin
Three upset specials: 1) Jags willl take care of business at home vs the Broncos. 2) Colts will win on the road vs the Titans 3) Bucaneers will win at home against the favored Seahawks. 2 out of 3 will happen.... you can take that to the bank!
