gridironmike
Blondie, Clint Eastwood is good in most of his westerns. Does a TV movie count here? Robert Duvall as Captain Augustus "Gus" McRae and Danny Glover as Joshua Deets both in "Lonesome Dove." Barry Corbin as Roscoe Brown was another classic in that movie. Guest Gichin13
Originally posted by WallyG3 I loved Kilmer in that movie. Classic. Chili Palmer was great too. Darth Vader Yoda The Godfather (Vito and Micheal both) Jules in Pulp Fiction Inigo Montoya (Actually, just about EVERY character in that movie was incredible) Indiana Jones Austin Powers Chunk Data/Short Round Josey Wales Ace Ventura John McClane Senior Drill Instructor in Full Metal Jacket Robert Duvall in Apacolype Now Sergeant York Spock Boy what a great list this is. I was going to name the triumverate of great Eastwood western characters: Josey Wales/The Preacher/William Munny On Unforgiven: Little Bill and English Bob are excellent too Chili Palmer: great character there Vito and Michael Corleone oh yes! Val Kilmer in Tombstone -- good, but not up to this rarified level Darth/Obi Wan/Yoda -- great on cartoonish level Idiana Jones -- yeah that is a good one too Duvall -- boy, where to start there? So many great roles for him. Almost every movie I have seen him in I can watch. Skip THX-1138 though, that one blows. I think my favorite of all time is Gus McRae in Lonesome Dove. I loved that book, and the mini-series was actually excellent. Tommy Lee Jones as Woodrow Call was wonderful as well. Bogart in Casablanca, Claude Raines too. Andy Dufrene and Red (honorable mention to the whole cast) in Shawshank Redemption. Tom Hanks in Green Mile too. Funny, both of those are Stephen King stories too, but really wonderful and transcendent. Tag, I will need to come back with some other good ones later when I have a minute ...
