skinsfanjoe
Assuming he isn't hired as the head coach, which I highly doubt will happen. Do we keep Hue on the staff as Offensive Coordinator? Is it feasible that he would even want to stay on staff in D.C.? I wouldn't mind seeing us hire a Defensive Guru and then keeping Hue on as O-Coordinator. What are your thoughts? codeorama
no.. if youre going to clean house, then clean house and let the new guy pick his staff.
Skeletor The Invincible
That would be my ultimate plan. I would hire a previous D-coordinator or a man with defensive background and then retain Jackson as the OC. He seemed to call plays pretty well so I think we could succeed with that setup in place at coaching positions.
All In
Hey may be worth keeping on as RB coach, he knows the personnel best on offense. There is no one on defense i would suggest bringing back. Hue and that's it.
OrangeSkin
Jackson is getting too much credit. He hasn't done anything noteworthy in his time here. He called some of the plays in the Seahawks game, whoop-de-friggin-do. Hell, he didn't even call the play that won the game for us. The offensive guru Steve Spurrier pulled that one out of his ass. Hell, Jackson was given the play-calling duties the next week against the Panthers and he did such a horrible job Spurrier took the play-calling back in mid-game. And people are saying this guy should get a shot as our offensive coordinator? This is the same person who called a QB draw for Ramsey from the 10-yard line. Give me a break. Oldskool
Jackson and SS2 might be the only two people id think of bringing back, but id doubt that SS2 would stay after pappy quit.
Joe Sick
I'd bet SS2 would stay, unless Daddy Ballcoach is sharing some of that $10 million. Otherwise, he might have to be his Dad's caddy for the next year.
Mania
no, however you may want to keep Stock. Special teams has been improving over the past 8 mos. With some ups and downs.

inmate running the asylum
The new head coach will decide what assistants to bring in. But I wouldn't mind seeing Hue Jackson being retained as the RB coach. He was partly responsible for convincing the FO to draft Rock Cartwright who was a steal in the 7th round. Jackson had seen Cartwright play against USC. Are you listening Blondie?
SPare
Jackson probably deserves to be retained- not sure in what role, however. At the end of hte day, whether he stays or goes belongs entirely to the new coach, and whether the new guy thinks that he will be able to work with him.
