Om
Seriously ... not sure I've seen a less competent NFL officiating crew in a long, long time.

Zen-like Todd
I think it goes beyond competence. There's no way anyone can look at that replay and call it an incomplete pass.
Dr. D
funny the vibe i get from "redskins radio" is more like when they will screw this up and end up losing. such is the psychology of this season

Not many if any. How can you bring back Smoots TD on a touch of feet, but can't call a Catch a catch??
bulldog
the best thing I saw in the first half other than the TDs, was the fight at the end of the half anytime the opposition starts a fight during the game at home you know you are getting to them the Bears were up 10-3 and went on cruise control and now are behind 17-10. they are frustrated. I don't blame them  Hasselbeck had the quickest turnaround in performance by a qb I have seen in a long time. note that he was able to throw once the teams changed sides of the field at the beginning of the second quarter. let's see if the teams take account of the wind in the second half
Om
And damn that Hasselbeck, too ... here I am telling my kid the guy isn't an NFL QB, and he starts playing like one. This may be the strangest NFL team I've ever seen.
TheDiplomat
Guys I can't see the game so help me out here. Who really threw that pass to Coles?
Renegade7
i hate zebra. wait a sec? y get rid of gardener, just make him back up qb, behind tim, and pull him in for trick plays or somethin. he lets us down, no doubt about it, but he has SOME us. ------------------------ 0-16, 16-0, skins fan till i die!!! All In
JJ, maybe not the best drive of the year, but defintely the type of drive that wins you the game. The team NEEDS to get a TD. Those are the kind of situations where we have failed some this year, not all year, but definately in those loses. Against Carolina - Rock fumble just an example. This team can do it. It is still the players on the field that need to execute as was proven today. Yes Gardner makes a better QB than WR

a_good_brotha
Hopefully the Skins can keep it up in the 2nd half. Oh no! I just remembered, Bears get the ball back in the 2nd half. I'm cringing at the thought of the defense on the field first.
Skeletor The Invincible
Looked like a catch by Hasselbeck to me. I don't know what the refs were looking at but it clearly showed that he got his hands under the ball.
chiefhogskin48
OM, it's because the NFL officiating crew has become a good 'ole boy network. How many times are these guys fired?? Where's the accountability? Just like a tenured professor, there is no accountability. Maybe a fine and a wrist-slap. I think Tagliabue is getting too comfortable. Renegade7
tim caught that td from gardener, i dont care what those dumbas$ refs say, i know what i saw. TD SKINS!!! -------------------------- 0-16, 16-0, skins fan till i die!!!
a_good_brotha
I just don't understand why so many coaches want to get rid of replay. Why don't they get rid of the incompetent idiots that view replay?
bubba9497
The Fox crew is still criticizing Spurrier even though they are up 17-10?? If Jimmy Johnson was coaching and the Refs did that to him, he would have killed them on the spot!
All In
Well we have the momentum going into the second half. Our defense needs to stop them on this first drive. Keep this momentum so that our offense can put a drive together so that we can punt our way to the fourth quarter. This wind is tough and Field Position will be big. It's in our favor the fourth quarter so I'm not to worried even if we are down by a TD. GO SKINS!
bulldog
replay is a joke. the refs in the booth are overturning a lot fewer calls the past couple of seasons than they were previously. I think it is intentional in that they were told to overturn fewer calls so as not to undermine the authority of the refs on the field.
Om
Fact is, when you're a crappy team playing in meaningless games, you get the worst announcers AND the worst officiating crews. That's life in the NFL. We've earned the right to have to deal with both.
DieselPwr44
Half-time adjustments: Do not abandon the run. Strive for balance. Pass Pro needs to tighten up to give Rod more time in the pocket.
All In
We may see the TEAM that all of us have been looking for this year. A COMPLETE game, all four quarters, well at least a strong 4th quarter and the Redskins put away a team.
