Who Should We Pick??

Duke

It won't matter how many catches Winslow gets if we can't stop anyone on defense. That's why I say we need to pick the best defensive player available. Preferrably DE.

But Danny will probably go with the biggest name available, which will likely be Winslow.

Taylor is a stud no doubt but he will be long gone unless we lose out. I think we'll draft between 12-16 to low to get Wilfork,Taylor and possibly not even Winslow Jr. I think Pollack and Smith are both very overrated but atleast Pollack plays hard every snap. I will be extremly pissed if we draft Will Smith everytime I watch them he disappoints me. He always makes a play then no where to be seen the rest of the game.He is a teaser and will be alot like Kenard Lang and Kenny Holmes.

To be truthful, I don't care. I want TWO players in the 1st and 2cd that come in and are starting by the end of the season. And being MAJOR, positive contributors the WHOLE season.

Whether that's Winslow, Kevin Jones, perry, Will smith, Jake Grove, Adibi, taylor, Wilfork, or some other one, I don't really care. but it must be someone that most definately UPGRADES the position.

I don't want a Jacobs pick in the second that was "great value" and ranked as having "1st rd. quality", yet never sees the field. Yes the injury detracted from Jacobs season. but he's healthy now and he isn't beating out McCants or P. Johnson for playing time.

I don't want a Betts pick that sits on the bench most of the rookie season. Not contributing.

And the third round pick needs to contribute as well. Stop with the out on a limb picks such as Russell, who was known to be injury prone BEFORE the draft.

David Pollack. He is amazing! The only way he is stopped is by double and even triple teams---He abused little Munoz when the Dawgs played the Vols---Munoz will be a good tackle in the NFL--Watch some Pollack film---Your mind will change. If he slips down the board to us, we better take him!

If you guys really need a TE, how about Ben Troupe??? He'd be available in the 2nd (or later) and command MUCH less money than Winslow Jr. PLUS no attitude!!

I don't know about his blocking ability though. The problem is, he's a Gator.

If we get a high first rounder for Champ, we may have a chance to draft two studs, including Sean Taylor and another possible early contributor to the defense or offense.

We need to resign Russell, get Gardener back, sign Chris McAllister and draft Sean Taylor and possibly a running back or a defensive lineman. I wouldn't mind LB D.J. Williams if we could find a pass rusher in free agency.

Just get somebody who can make some sacks. It doesn't matter if they can't play the run at all, they only need to be on the field for second or third and long. One person who can command a double team on passing situations would make our whole defense twice as good.

A nice big blocking tight end that can catch a ball when thrown his way would be nice too. We don't need Winslow though. We need a Ken Dilger or Jim Kleinsasser.

Yes, we know we need someone who can pressure the QB and it will come thru free agency because Will Smith is not the answer. From what i have been told and tried to let everybody know is that we are looking at S,Te,Rb,LB,P, and D-line late.

Laddell Betts- is on the bubble right now because he cant stay healthy and lacks vision.

Flemister- no explanation

Rod Gardner - will be on the trade block on draft day

D.Gardner - if cut will either return to the Skins or Bengals

Team wants to move Bowen to strong safety if they find a FS in the draft ( Sean Taylor ) and Ohalete to the third safety . Cerrato has been scouting Kevin Jones,Steven Jackson, And Gregg Jones for awhile .

The F.O. will try and deal Champ in order to gain a extra 1st round pick and others . This is what is going to happen fans so get accustomed to it.

TC4,

Yes! on the Raymond Chester question. He started and ended with the raiders. But the years he played with Baltimore was the years I was old enough to start understanding,Playing and watching football. But about the same time Raymond went to play for the Colts, Dave Casper took over as TE for the raiders and made the pro-bowl 5 times from 1976-1980 and Raymond made the pro-bowl 4 times from 1970-1972 and 1979.

Lets see for what the 3rd or 4th game this year we are starting Chad Morton at RB.

We need a RB plain and simple either Kevin Jones, Stephen Jackson, Cadillac Williams or Chris Perry. :)

Unless Smith, Taylor, or Harris or there or maybe even Pollack, we need a RB.
