bulldog Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 Pennington is further along in his development at 26 than Ramsey is at 24, and that accounts for the growth of Moss' stats this season vis a vis Coles. Coles showed the first several weeks what he could do when the ball actually made it into his hands, however, wide receiver is a position that depends upon the productivity of the qb and the offensive line to boost his own contributions. Bottom line is that LC should not be compared to Moss, (Moss was already there last year) but to the guy who was supposed to replace LC, that being Curtis Conway. bulldog Posted December 7, 2003 Share Posted December 7, 2003 Coles has 65 catches for 968 and 4 td's on a team whose quarterbacking has been hit or miss all season. that still projects out to what he did last year with a healthy Pennington in NY, maybe better on the yardage side based on what he can do the last 4 weeks.
