twa
Thanks, good stuff. I can see a potential weakness, from their perspective, in the fact I'm not after a career. I'm going to have ponder how to deal with that honestly but not too directly I think. Doubt that matters as much as dependability for that position. Many people are flakes today....besides newspapers might not be around too long anyway
TheGreatBuzz
The last interview I went in for, I wore a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. I'm pretty sure I hadn't shaved in a few days and may have still been a little stoned. I made sure to point out that I dropped out of high school and had a GED. I also told them about a pending "legal issue" that I had. I pretty much laid out the all my negatives without really explaining my positives too much. And I still got the job. Don't believe everyone's advice regarding job interviews. Disclosure: The "interview" was with a Navy recruiter shortly after 9/11.
