Tedskins 73
Jay GlazerVerified account@JayGlazer Breaking: the Patriots have agreed to parameters of a trade to send Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins to the Bucs for a pick and TE Tim Wright https://twitter.com/JayGlazer/status/504321112894107650
Rufus T Firefly
Kinda crazy. The Pats' offseason looked like they realized they had to go for it now before Brady gets too old, but this move looks the opposite, though Wright seems like Gronk insurance. GoSkins0721
I'm know what it is: Mankins was with Hernandez & Bellicheat has video of it. He's getting rid of Mankins before the tape is discovered and Mankins joins Hernandez in the Big House
SteveFromYellowstone
I'm starting to doubt Belichick slightly. He gets rid of an all-pro guard for a bag of chips and then FINALLY trades Mallet for a 7th round pick when he could've easily gotten a 2nd or 3rd earlier in the offseason. Honestly it doesn't look like the Pats improved drastically. I mean of course they'll be their usual 11-5 or 12-4 but compared to the moves the Broncos made it sure don't look like the Pats have much of a chance to reach the super bowl

Perennial weak division gives them 6 wins annually. They go .500 outside the division & they're 11-5. It's hard for me to believe their backup G is better than Mankins. And that doesn't even address his locker room leadership. Jets should have won on opening day 2013. Maybe this is the year Pats start to decline while the rest of the division starts to advance. justice98
If only Niles Paul or Logan Paulsen could catch passes, we coulda had Logan Mankins in here. Paul's a converted WR, but I've yet to seen any evidence of pass catching ability. lol
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Paul's a converted WR, but I've yet to seen any evidence of pass catching ability. lol Small hands. Ever since Kwame Brown, I've been damn near obsessed with hand size. That might be my biggest red flag, physically. I don't care what sport. I've also heard that Kwame did the same thing to MJ. That he's said that he will never draft a player with small hands again. It's hard for me to believe their backup G is better than Mankins. And that doesn't even address his locker room leadership. Heard they asked him to take a paycut, he said no, they traded him
