Bliz
My heart goes out to his family. It's just a terrible disease. And at a relatively young age of 70, there might be a lot of tough years ahead. http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/broncos-owner-bowlen-steps-down-after-acknowledging-he-has-alzheimer-disease-072314 Broncos owner Pat Bowlen relinquishes control of team after acknowledging he has Alzheimer's disease. Team President Joe Ellis will assume control. Bowlen, 70, has owned the team for 30 years, guiding the team to six Super Bowl appearances and two world championships. "It's a really, really sad day," Ellis said in a statement to the Post. "It's sad for his family, his wife and his seven children. It's sad for everyone in the organization. And it's sad for all the Bronco fans who know what Pat Bowlen meant to them as an owner. It's a day nobody wanted to see happen."

RockvilleSkynz
My favorite Uncle-In-Law is battling dementia/Alzheimer's right now -- it's quite sad and just as hard on the family as it must be on the person going through it. Prayers.
