Soup
to be honest, I'd rather take quinn. The guy is a great player
wvtbred
He's a freakishly good athlete and a top tier pass rusher. Belicheck would take him in a heart beat. and didn't play last year if it happens and Julio is not there trade the pick and pass on Quinn!
Slacky McSlackAss
BB is too smart to vastly overpay. He's going to keep 28 so that he can trade back from that slot and recoup some of the picks that he gave up to move up to 10. Watch. That's a different reason than "overpaying". Once again, THE CHART MEANS NOTHING!!! You can't say a team is overpaying for a draft pick just because of some unofficial chart that no team in the league uses.

SexyRexy
If the Pats want Quinn we should just take him ourselves....they have a much better track record with the draft than we do lol

He made a stupid mistake and took some gifts. That doesn't take away from the fact that he's a DAMN GOOD football player.

You can't say a team is overpaying for a draft pick just because of some unofficial chart that no team in the league uses. Especially this draft, the NFL Network guys been beating to death that it seems like a buyers not sellers market this year, many teams want to trade down not as many want to trade up, and in turn teams will take LESS than the draft trade value to trade down
The Sisko
The big secret that no one's admiting is that Locker isn't the target. The guy they both LOVE is Ponder and they think they can get him much later than Locker. I'm a big Ponder fan as well. I think he might be the best of the bunch but I wouldn't take him anywhere in the first. His injury history makes me think he could be the second coming of Chad Pennington or Chris "Chandelier" Chandler.
mistahsmif
I hope we can trade down... But I won't get my hopes up too high. Trading down is easier said than done...
wvtbred
But he hasn't played in over a year and against college comp, too much to take at that spot.

I've been a fan of his for a while now, thinking about him and orkapo attacking Qbs is my selling point.

The Sisko
I'd absolutely love a trade down. However I'd do it in such a way as to target an extra first rounder next year--->A. Luck
jthor99
I believe they would give up the 49th pick (2nd 2nd round pick) which would equal 1360 by flipping 1st round picks
martytheman
The ONLY way Id be ok with a QB being taken this year is if they get one of the good NT's available. Otherwise, stick with Quinn to compliment Orakpo

ChillSkinzFan84
I drool when I imagine Quinn and Orakpo rushing the QB together. And Quin has the weight and size to hold up in the run game. Def dont want Locker...if we get a QB my pick would be Ponder...he is a gamer ive seen damn near all of his games.
