ABSTRACT
We'll be aight. As long as we continue to instill heart into this organization. Whoever is on the field will play hard. I'm just anxious to see who we draft.
martytheman
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/24/dolphins-franchise-paul-soliai/I know a lot of you wanted him as our NT. What do you think we do with the position moving forward? pffft. Nobody on this board ever even heard of the guy (except a few) someone here mentions he's a free agent and everyone here wets their panties for him. Champskins
some of you are forgetting Aubrayo Franklin who is also a free agent NT, and he is very dominant. I believe he is 30 but so is Bryant and would instantly be an upgrade for a few seasons if we can not find a stud in the draft. Soliai would have been nice, but he really only had 1 productive season and it just so happened to be a contract year,,,, sounds like someone we all know too well (AH) ---------- Post added February-25th-2011 at 12:51 PM ---------- 49ers won't tag Aubrayo FranklinCSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco confirms that the 49ers will not use the franchise tag before today's deadline. They'll risk losing NT Aubrayo Franklin, and perhaps FS Dashon Goldson. Franklin expressed a desire earlier this month to test the free agent waters, and the 49ers weren't happy with his decision to sit out all last offseason and training camp after receiving the tag. Tagging Franklin again would've given him a 120-percent raise over his 2010 franchise salary. Feb 24, 11:01 AM
ddub52
Sidney Rice isn't getting tagged, and that's the biggest one for me. He and Davin Joseph....who may get tagged. The Bucs plan to tender Davin Joseph to make him an RFA
