Tenjikuronin
It would be funny if the Seahawks pulled off an upset this weekend.....although its probably not going to happen...lol
hail2skins
Good list......lot of relatively older stuff on there. I think another that would have to be considered would be Pittsburgh's win at Indy in the playoffs following the 2005 season. Even though Pitt had been a solid team for some time (and had made the AFCCG the previous season), Indy had started the year 13-0 and looked like they were going all the way. One might also be tempted to throw in one of the two home Philly losses in the NFCCG, particularly the one against Tampa. You heard all the stories about how the Bucs could never prevail in cold weather, etc.......nobody expected them to win that game.
Hitman21ST
Haven't seen the vid, where is the Raiders-Redskins Super Bowl ranked?
TheLongshot
It would be funny if the Seahawks pulled off an upset this weekend.....although its probably not going to happen...lol I wouldn't put it past them. As we know, Seattle is a tough place to play a playoff game.
Hitman21ST
Aside from last year's Colts, what's the farthest a first year HC has gone in the playoffs?
hail2skins
LOL Hitman I was thinking the same thing. That dark day mercifully isn't on there. The Redskins actually were only 3 point favorites in that game, and we had barely beaten the Raiders (who were 12-4) earlier in the season. I don't think the Raiders beating us was as stunning as how badly they got over on us.

scyber
Giants got 3 on the list. Of course they also have 3 of the worst post season losses in the last decade.
darklight1216
Aside from last year's Colts, what's the farthest a first year HC has gone in the playoffs? There's John Harbaugh who made it to the AFC Championship game. Surely after all this time, someone must have won the SB as a rookie HC
hail2skins
Don McCafferty was first year HC of the Colts when they beat the Cowboys in SB 5.
thebluefood
Don McCafferty was first year HC of the Colts when they beat the Cowboys in SB 5. It was a miracle that didn't end in a 0-0 tie. I'm glad I wasn't around for that game, or else it may have ruined my opinion on pro football forever.
