GSF
You make some interesting points JMS, and I agree with a lot of what you say. I hope you're right about the dream act.
TheGreatBuzz
I'm not saying I'm a big fan of NAFTA. I'm sorry. I can't resist. EDIT: And how the hell do I make it so the actual video shows up in the thread?
Redskins Diehard
It doesn't seem to be policy. Just a not uncommon practice. See post #26 It doesn't seem to be policy because it isn't policy. And if you consider one recruiter ON TRIAL for providing fraudulent immigration documents evidence of a "common practice" then I think you are really grasping. Your first article doesn't mention the SM's immigration status(although it does mention that SM's father has duel citizenship) and the second one says that the SM was a legal immigrant at the time of his enlistment(those with counterfeit documents are often not associated with legal presence...scratch that...they never are). I had an awesome soldier who entered with a fraudulent GED provided by his recruiter. Does that mean that is common practice? Oh, adjust your formatting....I said nothing about NAFTA in this article. I try to stick to topics that I have at least some knowledge of, that does appear to be a novel concept.
